We 3/18/2020- DAY 2
We 3/18/2020- DAY 2
Up 840 am: Rain through the early afternoon and temps to 50.
Wrote up 'GONE WILD'- James W. Hall for the blog.
Watched 'HAYWIRE' (Hoopla). Mallory is a rogue agent and everyone seems to be out to get her. Some of the best hand to hand fighting I've seen, but the plot seems confused and hard to accept even for a 'Wonder Woman', although well worth a look. Director- Steven Soderbergh; with Gina Carano (she is a Mixed Martial Arts champion), Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Channing Tatum, Michael Douglas, and Antonio Banderas.
Watched the last two episodes of Season Three and skimmed episode one of Season Four of 'BETTER CALL SAUL' (Netflix). Now I am ready to complete the rest of Season Four.
Tried to keep up the latest on Covid-19. Too depressing to absorb.
The virus could travel through the southern hemisphere and then come back north this winter!!!
"Designated hours for seniors at County Markets- 6 to 8am".
3pm: PC is 'Off' and I'll read for a couple of hours and then go for a long walk.
I sat in the living room chair and read 'THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA' and listened to Altec: Live- CROSBY STILLS NASH YOUNG.
At 530pm I took a walk around the neighborhood. Up Westview to Parkview (the bike owner was jogging near his house. We just waved) across Old Jacks and down to Golf south to the last street west to catch BELLERIVE north (my old running route- by Beagle's house). Then Lynnhaven up to Fairway, then up Greenview to Parkview and back down Westview. Close to an HOUR AND TEN MINUTES.
In the tub with more ROTH and a John Lennon album I had never heard of and BLUR.
Then watched, 'LOST GIRLS' (Netflix). Mary Gilbert forces the police to search for her missing daughter. The film is about 'THE LONG ISLAND SERIAL KILLER- L.I.S.K. Many suspects, but no one has been apprehended and the murders that go back nearly twenty years. The bodies were discarded in marshes in areas on the South Shore of Long Island, New York; with Amy Ryan, Gabriel Byrne, and Kevin Corrigan.
Then episode two, Season Four- 'BETTER CALL SAUL' (Netflix).
