Fr 4/10/2020- County Market/ PNEUMONIA SHOT

Up 540 am and 630 am at County Market to hit the Senior Hours...Sunny with temps to mid 50's.

***Downstairs PC is up to date on Windows Updates. The unit ran all night and probably unnecessary since there was no significant change. Why is upstairs PC running a different version of Windows and downstairs PC still no Search Bar?

Watched Netflix disc, 'THE LAST CIRCUS'. Set in Spain- 1937 and the early 70's. Possibly some kind of whacked commentary on Franco's Spain? Son of a 'Happy Clown' becomes a 'Sad Clown' when he grows up. He joins a small circus, falls in love with the beautiful lady high-wire artist who happens to be married to a violent and abusive husband. Lurid, violent, and over-the-top. More than likely a 'Cult Favorite' somewhere.

***During the film I called Heartland Credit union to get a replacement for my broken debit card. I was shocked to learn that they can make a copy in twenty minutes! I'll pick it up later when I go to Walmart for the inhaler.

Watched a twenty minute segment of 'ZANE LAMPREY'S DRINKING MADE EASY'. The show visits various drinking spots in Tennessee.

Then a short film called, 'LOST VEGAS HIWAY' (60") (Amazon Prime). It's much more than an extended music video. The film has a noirish and complex tale of the goings on at The Gateway Motel on the sleazy side of Las Vegas; featuring JESS MIX AND THE SONGHEARTS.

Spent some time adding 'THE OLD KIT BAG' to Google Play. Back to where I started. Still no clue why the first song drops on albums uploaded to Google Play.

130 pm: To Heartland in the Elantra for replacement debit card and on to Walmart for the inhaler and various stuff.
I was surprised at the wait at the credit union. The lobby was closed and I waited for a long time at the drive-thru.

At Walmart the far north entrance was closed to the customers as it's now an employees entrance. Bought a 30pk of beer and a seven dollar bag of expensive Japanese rice. And I bought an expensive bag at County Market earlier. For what I spent on rice today I could have bought a peach basket full of the stuff at regular prices.

***When I picked up the inhaler I asked about the pneumonia shot. They do it! They ran it through my insurance and it paid 100%! He said that the pharmacies were left to their discretion whether to offer the shots. Walgreens do not, and I'm glad Walmart did. If there is no vaccine for Covid-19, then at least one can lessen the chances of pneumonia if you catch the virus.

Home to put away the groceries and read 'HELL'S CORNER' on the couch.

445PM: Out for the walk. Up Westview and down Parkview through the southside of the park. Across Walnut and up the panhandle. Then north on Walnut to Lawrence. Up Fairway to Kenyon and down to 940. JUST ABOUT EXACTLY AN HOUR AND A HALF.

Then in the tub with more Baldacci and TOADIES- 'Rubberneck' and THE STONES- 'Goats Head Soup'.

Watched Netflix disc, 'WRINKLES THE CLOWN'. The film offers a faux-documentary and then a real documentary about a guy who manipulated the media into believing that clowns are a threat to children and the community. He pretends to be a 'bad clown' who parents hire to scare their children into being good. Set in Southwestern Florida around Naples, but this would probably find a following anywhere on the planet.

Then an episode of 'OUTER LIMITS'(Amazon Prime) (1993)- Season 1, episode 7- VIRTUAL FUTURE. Very forgettable story about time travel in the lab; with Josh Brolin looking very young.
