***Carpet is now just damp. Vac not needed, but still in the room since storms are expected. Plugged in the dehumidifier.
Up 815 am: Overcast and showers expected later this afternoon: To low 60's.
Watched, 'SEBERG' (Amazon Prime). In the late 1960's American actress Jean Seberg becomes a star of the French New Wave, but when she publicly supports the American Black Panther Party the FBI initiates a smear campaign to 'neutralize' her. Kristen Stewart is brilliant as Jean Seberg; with Vince Vaughn, Colm Meaney, Jack O'Connell, and Yvan Attal.
Then watched, 'GIRL ASLEEP' (Amazon Prime). A dream-like and surreal 'Coming of Age Tale' of a fifteen year old Australian girl. The best part of the film is the hysterical disco dancing sequence at Greta's birthday party. A well-done Independent Film.
Then another episode of, 'WACO' (Netflix).
230 pm: PC is 'Off' and getting ready for the walk.
3 pm: On the street. Up Westview, Oakmont, Pebble Beach....Country Club!. East on Laurel then south on 'asphalt' Outer Park. North on Douglas, across MacArthur in front of the Dollar Store, east by 1315 Walnut, and Walnut to Panhandle. North side thru park. Up to Carillon and Parkview, down to 940: TWO HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES: Mp3- THE PIXIES, THE JON SPENCER BLUES BAND, and 'King Of America'- ELVIS.
On the couch to begin, 'THE POET'-Michael Connelly and listened to BROKEN BELLS, THE WALLFLOWERS.
In the tub with more COLORADO MURDER and THE SHINS and THE RED HOUSE PAINTERS.
***Shoveled four more albums onto the Mp3.
Upstairs during 'The Water Crisis' and watched, 'AMY WINEHOUSE- THE GIRL DONE GOOD' (Netflix). More or less a glowing tribute to the singer, and I was anticipating more tabloid fodder concerning her massive drug and alcohol intake and erratic behavior. But, she was most definitely the real deal as a singer and I will definitely 're-listen' to her stuff.
And finally, an hour and twenty-five minute episode of 'HOARDERS' (Netflix). An elderly couple in Marysville, Washington faces fines and eviction if they don't cleanup. 160 tons are removed and 60 more to follow. The couple was hoping that Donald Trump would intercede on their behalf. Good Luck With That...
