Up 645 am: Overcast with temps to low 60's.
Watched, 'SLOW WEST' (Hoopla). A rich and vibrant cinematic meditation on the violence of The Old American West. A young Scottish man travels to America in search of his lover and an outlaw aids him in the quest; with Kodi Smit-McPhee, Michael Fassbender, and Ben Mendelsohn. ...From Screen Daily-..."lean and lyrical coming of age story set in 19th century Colorado and filmed in New Zealand. Almost everyone is a killer, or becomes one."
Then watched the final episode of, 'WACO' (Netflix). On the last day of the siege the FBI pumped tear gas into the buildings and then an out of control fire engulfed the compound. The FBI knew that many times when tear gas was employed fires resulted, yet authorities claimed that the Branch Davidians set the fires as part of a mass suicide. Surviving members claimed that suicide was never a part of their plan.
Then watched the last half of an 'UGLY DELICIOUS' (Netflix) episode that I began night before last; 'American Chinese Food vs. Chinese Food'.
Then WATCHED TWO YouTube videos, 'JOAQUIN PHOENIX ON THE MAKING OF 'JOKER' and 'JOKER- BEHIND THE SCENES WITH JOAQUIN PHOENIX AND TODD PHILLIPS'.
1 pm: Will read more 'THE POET' and will walk later. It's damp and overcast and nothing has dried.
Napped/Read and on the walk at 4 pm: Up Westview, Oakmont, Laurel, 'Asphalt' Outer Park...
***Before I got to Laurel and Chatham Rd. an Asian lady asked me to help her lift a lawnmower into the back of her SUV. I put on my mask before I got close to her. She was wearing a mask and gloves..."Your thanks was not commiserate with the favor"!...
Douglas north to Leland and across MacArthur and over to Wash. Pk. via Walnut. North side of the panhandle and walked up the grassy hill in front of the carillon. Parkview, Greenview, up to 940: JUST OVER TWO HOURS; Mp3- THE STROKES, THE SMITHS, and THE BYRDS- LIVE AT THE FILLMORE- February 1969. A fantastic country album featuring the guitar work of Clarence White on his 'Stringbender'.
Then in the tub with 'THE POET' and listened to CAKE and RAY LAMONTAGNA.
Watched (Upstairs; downstairs is almost dry- possibly tomorrow) 'BROADWAY IDIOT' (IMDB-TV). Watched about half of this because I wasn't that big a fan of , 'AMERICAN IDIOT', and moved on...
Then, 'AUTOPSY- River Phoenix (Amazon Prime). He did cocaine and heroin speedballs (they suspect that he drank the coke and smack) at The Viper Room, Halloween Night- 1993 and OD'd on the sidewalk out front.
Then an episode of, 'CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM' (Amazon Prime). 'Larry's tenth anniversary gift'.
Began, 'HAVE A GOOD TRIP: ADVENTURES IN PSYCHEDELICS' (Netflix). 'B-Level' celebrities recount their most memorable trips.
