Up 645am: Sunny with temps to upper 80's. Dentist appointment at 2pm.

Watched, 'THE NOVEMBER MAN' (Hoopla). A foolish stew of tough-guy cliches where any situation or circumstance can be addressed with extreme violence; with Pierce Brosnan and a more-or-less international cast.

Then I watched, 'OBSESSED' a 27" YouTube video about addiction to prescription pain medication. Corny nonsense- Drugs Bad, Sobriety Good. 

Then another YouTube video called, 'WHAT THE 1% DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW' (30"). This is a little outdated as it was made before Trump's election, but it's only more important and relevant than ever. America is an oligarchy and has been one for decades. 

Noon: PC is 'Off' and will read for a while before I take the Elantra to the dentist. 
****Arrived about 140 pm and tried to call, but no answer. Went to the door and was met by Taylor (I think). She let me in after a temp check and I went back to the room for the cavity procedure. I waited there until almost quarter to three. Very cold and I had to request a blanket. One of the techs said that most of the people request blankets. How odd. Filling went without a hitch and it cost $187.

When I left I went right to the Wabash PO and bought a large envelope and mailed the two claims to Aetna. I stopped at Planet Fitness to read the door and a trainer came out and said that they would be open tomorrow. Silver Sneakers is still honored and my phone app should work just fine. No masks for the guests, but the trainers and staff will be masked.  

345pm..Home to smoke and hit the streets.  Down Parkview to Wash Pk. On the road up on the northside/ Williams Blvd. South on Walnut/ Holmes south to Outer Park. North on Park. West on South Grand and through the park on the south side and up the hill. Parkview/ Greenview/ and up to 940. TWO HOURS. MP3.HENRY THREADGILL, HINDU LOVE GODS, HOT CHIP. 

Read 'STRAIGHT WHISKY' in the living room. Tape Deck. LIVE HUSKER DU, DUMP TRUCK. 

In the tub and began 'DEATH OF A TRANSVESTITE'- Ed Wood Jr. and listened to,  'BROS & SIS' ALLMAN BROS and then more LIVE ALLMAN BROS. 

I watched a 50" YouTube video, 'THE STORY OF FLEETWOOD MAC'. Only watched about ten minutes, but it did have some very early black and white footage of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac that I had never seen before.

Then watched a 42" YouTube video documentary on , 'KEITH MOON. Just about what you would expect...No new ground broken.

Then, an episode of, 'THE INNOCENCE FILES- The Witness: The Murder of Donald Sarpy' (Netflix). Stopped with twenty minutes left to go, and will complete it tomorrow.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
