***Downstairs PC is caught up on the Windows Updates. I guess I'll just leave this PC 'On' all night and turn off the monitor for future updates.

Up 640am: Sunny and brutally hot- to 90 and to the mid 90's tomorrow and Sunday. 

825am: Back from the store and grocery shopping is put away. Onions have doubled in price! $2.60 for an ounce of hand sanitizer!

Watched Netflix disc 'WILDLIFE'.  Set in 1960, a fourteen year old boy in Montana bears witness to the disintegration of his parents' marriage. A depressing story, but brilliantly told and deeply moving; with Carey Mulligan, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Ed Oxenbould. Directed by Paul Dano. Watched some of the Bonus Features, but many more are already on YouTube. 

Then watched 'LAWS OF GRAVITY' (Amazon Prime). 'Cinema Verite' about a group of jobless losers in 90's Brooklyn. They drink, fight, argue, and feud, yet never accomplish a single thing until one of them is shot and killed in front of the neighborhood bar; with Peter Greene and Edie Falco. Much better than I thought it would be. 

230pm: Preparing for a walk in the heat and humidity to mail back the disc at the Wabash PO.

***3pm. Parkview, Pebble Beach, Laurel, then south on Chatham Rd. to Wabash PO. Back the same way. 2 HOURS. Mp3. 'Younger Than Yesterday' - Byrds, 
The Second Coming' - JERRY LECROIX, 'The Old Kit Bag'- RICHARD THOMPSON.

Downstairs with GARP and listened to a LIVE STONES TAPE. 

In the tub with GARP and listening to 'Mr Fantasy' - TRAFFIC, THE NEW BASEMENT TAPES, ROSEANNE BARR ON JOE ROGAN.

Watched 'BRAINIAC: TRANSMISSIONS AFTER ZERO' (Amazon Prime).  A truly innovative 90's band from Dayton, Ohio. I've put a 'Be On The Lookout' for their CD's somewhere in the stacks.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
