Sa 7/18/20- $100 at the pot shop
Sa 7/18/20
***Reserved a quarter ounce for a hundred bucks. Pickup 930-10am. Left home at 930am and stopped at the Dollar Store at Fairhills for a new coffee mug and a container to store pot. Back home by 1015am.
Up 7am: Opened the windows, but will close by mid morning. Temps to hit low 90's later.
Because I had to be downtown soon I just watched an episode of 'SCHITT'S CREEK' (Netflix). And then more of the Roseanne Barr interview with Joe Rogan.
Watched 'VIVARIUM' (Amazon Prime). It's creepy, weird, and relentlessly off beat and could be interpreted as a dark satire on raising children; "Raise The Child And Be Released", "I am not your fucking mother!"; with Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg.
Watched some YouTube videos about 'VIVARIUM', and I left the following post:
"I thought that the use of '#9' for Tom and Gemma's house could be a reference to the Beatles song 'Revolution 9'. This song is composed of tape loops repeating endlessly and this mirrors the repetition in the creepy housing development of Yonder. John Lennon claimed that this was the sound of the coming 'revolution', and the theme of the film 'Vivarium' could be viewed as a 'revolutionary' new way of child rearing."
Then I watched the first two episodes 'BEYOND THE POLE' (Amazon Prime). This is a reality series that presents the hopes and dreams of women of color who work as exotic dancers at the premiere 'gentlemen' clubs of Atlanta. Impossible expectations coupled with massive egos seems to be an accurate profile for most of these ladies, but I know I'll be watching more of the series.
315pm: Preparing for another walk in the heat.
***4pm. Down and up Greenview, Parkview, Wah. Pk. and south to Cherry. North on Noble. Thru park to northside panhandle at McA and up hill in front of carillon, Parkview, and down to 940. ONE HOUR AND 50 MINS.
Read in living room 30 ", then in the tub with Garp and DESMOND DEKKER, 'Legalize It' - Peter Tosh, and then a second interview with Roseanne Barr on Joe Rogan's Experience.
Watched 'TOOL- THE ULTIMATE REVIEW' (Amazon Prime). I was really surprised about how little I knew about this band. I know I have a couple of their cds, but I will definitely hear more of this progressive rock outfit.
And then another episode of 'THE STIX' (Amazon Prime).
And then the rest of 'GETTING DOUG WITH HIGH' (Amazon Prime). Trailer Park Boys show up after getting high with Snoop Dog.
