Tu 7/21/20- 7.8 AT Horizon Treadmill; BODY QUEST 

Up 7am: Very humid with rain to begin mid morning- temps to mid 80's. Roiling storms off and on all day....very sticky. 

***Both ears plugged and I jumped in the shower stall with the waterpik; 70% better.

Watched 'THE OLD GUARD' (Netflix). A very pleasant surprise.  The film is a clever and well done rendition of a graphic novel that is believable and compelling because the characters seem real. For centuries a handful of immortal warriors have worked as a team for the good of humanity. Just as they learn the 'why' a new story-line pops up. Sequel in the offing?

***Soaking, soothing summer rain began about 940am, and within ninety minutes it got very humid. 

Watched more of an interview with Roseanne Barr on The Joe Rogan Experience. Then the next two episodes of 'BEYOND THE POLE' (Amazon Prime) End of Season 1.

Just before 2pm the PC is 'Off' and getting ready to hit the two treadmill stores. Janny emailed me that Joe's sister bought a treadmill from BODY QUEST and was very happy with the machine and the service.

***No walk today due to storms and a tornado warning until 445pm.

230pm. Drove to Fitness For All and the wait for a machine could take until mid October. Then over to Body Quest and bought an '7.8 AT Horizon Treadmill' for just over $2,000. This one felt as good as a treadmill at a health club. No charge for installation and they'll deliver on Wednesday, July 29th. 

Home by 330pm and finished GARP downstairs while listening to LIVE JACK BRUCE.

In the tub with 'something entirely different', THE COSMIC RAPE~ Theodore Sturgeon and listened to CATFISH AND THE BOTTLE MEN, THE STROKES ~ 'Room On Fire', then a 40th anniversary interview with John Irving about THE WORLD ACCORDING TO GARP'.

Watched 'FACELESS- INSIDE AN INPATIENT PSYCHIATRY UNIT'; 50" (Amazon Prime). Documentary footage of  'a day in the life' of a Canadian psychiatric ward. Disturbing.

Then episode #1, season #1 of  'GRAND TOUR' (Amazon Prime). Three fractious and grumpy acquaintances race expensive cars and argue about which ones are better.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
