Up 730am: Sunny with temps in the upper 70's.

***835am. A truck picked up the branch pile at 'roof rake' house.

Watched 'CLOSE ENEMIES' (Netflix). Set in the high rise projects near Paris an undercover narcotics detective must deal with his Algerian roots. His childhood friends are all involved in the drug trade and he is a narc. Obviously, there will be problems. I had seen this before and worth a second look. 

Then watched the next 'I'M DYING UP HERE' (Netflix).

And then the next episode of 'WRONG MAN'. Both series leave Amazon Prime on Oct. 1st. 

2pm: Preparing for the afternoon walk. 

340pm...Wash. Pk., Wiggins, Outer Park, Holmes, North side of panhandle, up the hill, Parkview, and down to 940. 2 HOURS. Mp3... LOS LOBOS, THE STROKES, HOT CHIP. 

Finished "THE BIG FIX" while listening to STEREOLAB. 

In the tub began "A WOMAN AT WAR" and listening to ANTIETAM, ARTHUR LEE & LOVE. 

Watched 'SECRET WINDOW' (Amazon Prime). A successful writer is confronted by a man who claims that the story-line for his novel was plagiarized and he wants the ending changed. But, the successful author is really a nut job. Not a bad film, and from a short story by Steven King; with Johnny Depp, John Turturo, Maria Bello, and Timothy Hutton.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
