Up 8am: Overcast with rain predicted off and on all day- 80's. (Not much rain at all).

***Mp3 connects to charge but no display of what's on the player. Will try it on the Chromebook or downstairs.

Called Dr. Ellison's office to schedule a flu shot for tomorrow as well as the pre-op checkup.

Watched 'VILLAIN' (Netflix). A surprisingly good English contemporary gangster film set in London's East End. A man arrives home after years in prison to find that his brother has put ownership of the family pub in jeopardy; with Craig Fairbrass and George Russo.

Then watched 'MRS. DALLOWAY' (IMDB-TV). Set during the years following WWI this is a terrific film about a woman who settled for a safe, rich, and well-connected marriage partner and dismissed a more reckless, yet dynamic choice. The film is 'one day in her life' as the woman hosts a gala cocktail party and all of the important people of her past show up. Doubt is sown...Did she make the right decision? Vanessa Redgrave, Natashcha McElhone.

***I called and was told to be tested for COVID on Saturday between 7am and noon in the 1200 block of south 7th; 'Elective Surgery Physical'.

I watched some of a compilation YouTube video of the 1970 English film "Marty Felman's EVERY HOME SHOULD HAVE ONE". Strange that it was a 'Disney' production since it dealt with the use of sex to sell products. The most popular English film of 1970...Far Out and Trippy.

245pm: Reading and will hit the treadmill later. It hasn't started to rain, but it's on the way. 

430pm on the treadmill... 5 MILES IN AN HOUR AND 40 MINS... Watched podcasts... WHISKEY GINGER and THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE. 

In the tub to begin THE KEYS TO TULSA. It arrived today and listened to NATHANIEL RATELIFF AND THE NIGHT SWEATS, 'SUPER SESSIONS' ~ Bloomfield, Kooper, Stills, 'BOPLICITY' ~ MILES DAVIS. 

Watched 'DELIRIUM' (Netflix). Another strange one! A man is released after twenty years in a mental asylum and goes home to a haunted house? No, he's just off his meds, he gets more meds, but things get even weirder when his (dead?) serial killer brother shows up. I didn't get this one, but worth a look after a bowl.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
