Up 7am: Bright and sunny with temps to 50.
At the store by 730am and back by 8am.
Watched Netflix disc 'MOTHERLESS BROOKLYN'(written, directed, and starring Edward Norton). A Noir-ish look at 50's NYC and how the city was planned and built behind a wall of deception and greed. A racist plutocrat grabs the political power to remove whole neighborhoods of poor minorities to build bridges, apartment buildings, and parks for 'the good of future generations'; with Edward Norton, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Alec Baldwin, Willem Dafoe, Bruce Willis, Ethan Suplee, Cherry Jones, and Bobby Cannavale.
1pm: An early walk to the Monroe PO to mail back the disc. East on Edwards, South on 4th, West on the alley next to South Grand, through the park on the south side, up the hill, Parkview and down to 940...TWO HOURS...Mp3...THE WHITE STRIPES, THE STONES- 'Voodoo Lounge', THE BLACK KEYS.
Then watched 'JUDY' (Amazon Prime). The story focuses on the last stage of Judy Garland's career as she tries to regain custody of her children and deal with her fading career. In 2020 Renee Zellweger won an Oscar for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.
Then in the tub with ROBERT DALEY and listening to THE OHIO Players... Trouble with Amazon Music and listened to SONNY SHARROCK on YouTube, back to Amazon for uninterrupted AC/DC for the duration.
***Amazon Play is no longer, so I had the phone transfer the site to YouTube Music. Could take 24 hours?
Watched 'TALKING ABOUT ADULTERY' (Amazon Prime). People speak of adultery and the effects on their marriages, but what we see is video of their living spaces and personal environments. This strange presentation establishes an insightful and very different point of view.
