6am: Reading 'KILL THE MESSENGER' by Tami Hoag and out of bed at 715am. Bright and sunny with temps to about 80. Beautiful!

Watched 'BLAZE' (Netflix). A terrific biopic about the Texas singer/songwriter, Blaze Foley (Michael Fuller). The set-up is an interviewer recording a discussion about Foley with Townes Van Zandt(Charlie Sexton) and Zee(Josh Hamilton), two of Foley's friends. Directed by Ethan Hawke; with Ben Dickey, Alia Shawkat, and a small cameo for Kris Kristofferson. Sam Rockwell, Steve Zahn, and Richard Linklater played three oilmen/record label owners.

***I ran out of the eye drops that I was supposed to be taking until Monday. I have no symptoms, so I'm going to take one drop a day of the other drops. They all seem to be doing the same kind of thing- preventing infection and I think if it was to be infected, it would have already happened. 

12pm: Just for grins I'm going to walk over to Walgreens and see if they have bath salt/bath oil. I think it's possible that the itchiness of my legs is caused by dryness from the '90 Minute Soaks'. A little oil in the water could only help. Back in about 30 mins. 5 dollar bag for 7? Powder to relax muscles, but nothing for the itch. See what happens.

Read KILL THE MESSENGER in the living room and 320pm did 5 MILES on the treadmill at 3.0 pace. ONE HOUR AND 40 MINS. I watched a documentary about KILLING JOKE called 'THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION SHOW'.

***I tried to play a CD on the living room stereo and it just made a strange noise, but no music. Will check with Recycled Records for a replacement.

In the tub with TAMI HOAG and listening to THE STEEPWATER BAND LIVE, TY SEGALL~ 'Fudge Sandwich', PURPLE NOON ~ 'Washed Out'. 

I watched 'AN ORDINARY MAN' (Amazon Prime). A military commander in his sixties is wanted for Yugoslavian war crimes and is protected by partisans. He develops a relationship with his young maid/defender who is brutally executed in a cemetery. Strange; with Ben Kingsley and Hera Hilmar (an Icelandic actress).

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
