Up 750am: Bright and sunny with temps only to mid 40's.

Watched 'THE OATH' (Netflix). Set in contemporary Reykjavik, Iceland it's the story of a heart surgeon who is losing his daughter to her drug dealing boyfriend. He kidnaps the young man, wounds him with a blast from a shotgun full of nail heads, and later the man dies from his injuries. The surgeon is able to keep the whole caper secret and the police don't have enough evidence to prosecute. It's hard to believe that the doctor could balance his job and the kidnapping without anyone knowing, but it was an edgy and compelling film.

Watched the next episode of 'THE MISSING' (Amazon Prime). Filmed in Belgium. 

530pm On the treadmill- 3 MILES... TONY HINCHCLIFFE on THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE. 

***Opened more weed. I have 10 eighths (Flower/Shake) and 13 gummy candies. 

In the tub and began  'THE BAD PLACE' ~Dean Koontz, listening to NILS LOFGREN, THE CLASH.

Today I got the Netflix discs, 'TROPIC THUNDER' and 'THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN' in the mail. 

***Front lawn light went out. It's most likely that the bulb has burned out, but I remember that I have no idea how to get at the bulb in the housing. 

Watched 'TROPIC THUNDER' (Netflix). I can't remember laughing this hard in ages! Actors on a tropical set think that they are making a movie about the Vietnam War, but they are really in a bizarre conflict with a gang of armed and violent heroin traffickers...or something like it.  Nominated for 1 Oscar and another 10 wins & 46 nominations'; with Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Steve Coogan, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, Nick Nolte, Matthew McConaughey, and Tom Cruise.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
