Up 740am: Bright, breezy, and sunny with temps in the upper 50's.
I wrote up 'BETWEEN TWO RIVERS' by Nicholas Rinaldi for the blog.
Watched 'THE TOWN' (Netflix). A crew from South Boston robs a downtown bank and one of the robbers develops a relationship with their hostage. The coup de grace is the rip-off of Fenway Stadium. Ben Affleck, stars, directs, and co-wrote; with Ben Affleck, Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm, Rebecca Hall, Titus Welliver, Pete Postlethwaite, and Chris Cooper.
1150am: Called Mitch's Lawn Service and they'll be out within the next two weeks: $200 tops for my leaves and the neighbor's front lawn.
1220pm: An early walk...Parkview, Oakmont, Country Club, Laurel east to Lincoln, then north to north side of Wash. Pk., Williams Blvd and up the hill, Parkview and down to 940...ONE HOUR AND 30 MINS...Mp3...'Beggars Banquet'- THE STONES, ;Surfer Rosa'- THE PIXIES, THE GRIFTERS.
Watched 'KID CANNABIS' (Amazon Prime). A rather bland film 'based on true events' about a hapless teen from northern Idaho who makes a fortune with his friends smuggling primo marijuana across the Canadian border. They get caught, yet he does twelve years and his friends do significantly less time; with young, second tier acting talent except for Ron Perlman who plays an Israeli drug dealer who owns a string of cell phone stores.
Wrote the Weekly Chat and sent it out.
I only did 2 MORE MILES ON THE TREADMILL... ya lazy Socialist... Finished Rogan/ Dr. Debra Soh and then began PAULY SHORE'S INTERVIEW WITH BILL BURR.
In the tub with KOONTS and listening to THE GRATEFUL DEAD... An entire evening with The Dead.
Watched 'CALIFORNIA HIGH' (Amazon Prime)- A documentary about the marijuana issue in the state of California circa 2015. Some very strong opinions especially on the negative side. The film basically dismissed the very thought of recreational marijuana and only half-heartedly endorsed the use of pot even for medical reasons. A weird film.
