Up 720am: Overcast to partly cloudy- to 50.

Buddy threw up last night, but he's kept down the dry food breakfast. I gave him his 'ear medicine' at 810am.

'NIGHT SINS' by Tami Hoag is the novel before 'GUILTY AS SIN' - the novel that I started a few days ago.

Watched 'DEATH AND THE MAIDEN' (Kanopy). Set in an unnamed South American country (probably Chile) after a dictator has been ousted. A man is stranded on a remote stretch of highway and is driven back to his secluded home by a passing motorist. When the two men enter the house, his wife recognizes the strange man as a doctor who tortured and raped her during the facist regime. She convinces her husband to force the doctor to confess his crimes on video tape. Directed by Roman Polanski; with Ben Kingsley, Sigourney Weaver, and Stuart Wilson. The piece originated as a play. 

Then I watched the first two episodes of Season #2 'VICE PRINCIPALS' (Free HBO on Xfinity). Not nearly as funny as 'EASTBOUND AND DOWN', but still very humorous.  

215pm: An afternoon walk. Parkview, Wash. Pk. northside, Williams Blvd to Walnut, Leland west to Wiggins, and then into the park and up the hill, Parkview, Fairway and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 30 MINS...Mp3...NPR-91.9FM.

Read ''GUILTY AS SIN"- Tami Hoag in the living room for 40". Then on the treadmill for another TWO MILES. Tom Green gets trashed as Joe pours whiskey and sparks a joint. 

In the tub with more HOAG and listening to MILES DAVIS, GRATEFUL DEAD-' Rarities '. 

Watched the last hour of 'QUEEN & SLIM' (Xfinity). A powerful, Blaxploitation film? Then I watched the first episode of 'THE VOW' (HBO-Xfinity). NXIVM- 'E.S.P.- Executive Success Program.  A system of belief very similar to Scientology, only they do not claim to be a religion. An interesting series.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
