Up 645am to the phone alarm. I got him there by 745am and home by 8am.

Watched the Netflix disc 'MY FAVORITE SEASON'. (The post office damaged the package, but the disc played fine. I'm going to tape it up and send it back. Even a postal moron should be able to see that it clearly is a Netflix disc even if the return address is illegible). A family drama about an estranged middle-aged brother and sister who must place their mother in a nursing home, but she wants her independence. Or maybe she just wants one of them to take care of her like she took care of them; Catherine Deneuve, Daniel Auteuil, and Carmen Chaplin, the granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin.

 ***Carol has finished trimming the hedge at the abandoned house so I can head out and mail the mangled disc package back to Netflix.  Up Westview and over to Monroe, dropped the disc at the Walgreens box, then down to Kenyon, and up and down to 940. 30 MINS...Mp3-91.9FM.

When I got back I called to find out how Buddy was doing. He hasn't pissed, so he might be there until 5pm. I told her that I'd call at 4pm if I haven't heard from them. 

Then THREE MILES ON THE TREADMILL...I listened to Joe Rogan's chat with Milo Yiannopoulos.

***I threw out the old coffee pot and opened the one that I bought back in early October, 2019. The old pot doesn't make the coffee hot enough, and the base is completely corroded. I thought it would have given out far before today. 

215pm: The vet called and said that he was OK and the infection had cleared. However, she asked if I wanted the blood work done today or wait until next year. I said that I'd like to know today. It will only take fifteen minutes, so I told her that I'd pick him up at 3pm.

Watched another episode of 'THE CROWN' (Netflix).

I was back at the vet at 3pm and she said that his tests were all good, but he has a slight thyroid condition. I have to rub medicine on the inside of his ear!!?? They showed me how to use the 'pen' in the parking lot, but I have my doubts. He seems fine and his usual energetic self; $253.60. 

Watched another episode of 'THE CROWN' (Netflix). Then TWO MILES ON THE TREADMILL and more of MILO on ROGAN.

***I gave Buddy his first dose of medicine. No idea if I did it right. Hope there is a video, and also one about the much maligned 'Cat/ Ear/ Thyroid Connection'.

In the tub with KOONTZ & and a new TAMI HOAG listening to WARREN ZEVON, GRAHAM PARKER ~'Your Country'.

Watched 'ENTERTAINMENT' (Amazon Prime). Just watched the beginning, but hungry and tired so I shut it down at 945pm.

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
