Mo 12/7/20- Buddy Threw up last night

Up 8am: Cloudy with temps to just over 40.

***When I awoke I went downstairs to check the litter box. Buddy had thrown up quite a bit and it looked as if it had been there for several hours. 845am I called the vet to find out whether I should give him today's dose. The tech asked Dr. Kirk and he said do not give him the Methimazole and he is to call me back. I fed Buddy some canned food and he seems to have kept it down.

Waiting for Dr. Kirk's call and watched an episode of 'THE CROWN' (Netflix). Queen Elizabeth gets a taste of The Kennedy Magic and learns that they're not what they seem to be.

**Dr. Kirk called back and suggested that we try the medication again. He could have thrown up just because he ate too much. Also he said that there is a special prescription cat food used to treat the thyroid condition. He asked me to give him another dose (I gave it at 11am) and to call him back tomorrow.

I also wrote an email to Janny to suggest that Joe and her come over on Wednesday or Thursday for a visit. Temps in the mid 50's and this is the last of the warm weather for this season.

Then another episode and a half of 'TRIAL 4- Hidden Link' (Netflix). A black man from Boston went to a Walgreens one night to buy diapers and is charged with killing a cop in the parking lot. He didn't know the cop or have any motivation to kill him, but dozens of people knew this corrupt cop and many wanted him dead. None of this information was shared with the defense until 20 years later. I'll finish the episode when I hit the treadmill this evening.

125pm: On the walk. Parkview, Wash. Pk. THE ENTIRE WALK WAS ON THE ROADS IN THE PARK- No shortcuts on the grass. Along the southside, up the panhandle and back down, along the northside and up the road on the southside, Fairway and up to 940... ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINS...Mp3- 91.9FM-NPR.

Read 'DROP CITY' in the living room for an hour.

510pm...On The Treadmill for TWO MILES and watched the last part of an episode of 'TRIAL 4' that I began this morning.

In the tub with 'DROP CITY' and listening to THOM YORKE, JERRY GARCIA BAND, MAHLER.

Watched 'THE KEEPING ROOM' (Amazon Prime)..."War is cruelty...the crueler it is, the sooner it will be over"- William Tecumseh Sherman, Union Army General. The film is set during William T. Sherman's 'Campaign of the Carolinas; 1865' during the American Civil War and concerns a white woman living in Georgia, her sister, and their black slave as they fight off drunks and rapists who are scouts for the Union Army...and then the three women take on the Union Army. Very odd, yet well worth a look.
