Up 810am: Sunny and breezy with temps to upper 40's.

I ran a cleaning disc on the downstairs PC. Cleaned the drive and the DVD player works fine. 'EMMA' must have been a slightly damaged disc.

Watched Netflix disc 'SELMA'. A highly principled,  'non-fiction novelization'  of the struggle for Voting Rights in Selma, Alabama in 1965. The first march happened on March 7, 1965 and the demonstrators were violently attacked by police and possemen armed with billy clubs and tear gas. This event (Bloody Sunday) was televised live on national TV and thousands of white sympathizers traveled to Alabama in support of the protestors; with David Oyelowo, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Wilkinson, Giovanni Ribisi, Wendell Pierce, Tim Roth,  Martin Sheen, Cuba Gooding Jr.. George Wallace ran for the presidency four times.   

***Called Dave Eiter's number by accident, but he said the PC was 'cloning' and if it finishes today, he'd send one of 'his boys' over to install. 

120pm: In the Elantra for Xmas Cash, gassed the Elantra--Thornton's and more beer; 30 pk. Dropped off 2 of my old sweaters at Goodwill. Drive up banking a headache. I tried to use the ATM, but they wanted 3 bucks!

On the treadmill FOUR MILES and watched an episode of 'THE CROWN' (Netflix) - The Christine Keeler Affair and part of an episode of 'Gas Monkey Garage'.

Read 'Charming Billy' in the living room and just after 5pm on the treadmill for A MILE AND A HALF (30MINS.) JOE ROGAN and a magician.

In the tub with MCDERMOTT and listening to THE LYRES, THE REAL KIDS (another excellent garage rock band from Boston). 

Watched 'RUSH' (Amazon Prime). A pair of undercover Houston drug cops become addicts. Not as good as I remembered, but still worth a look because both Patric and Leigh looked so impossibly young; with Jason Patric, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Sam Elliott, Max Perlich, and Gregg Allman. Pete Dexter Screen Play; Eric Clapton does the music.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
