Up 745am: Very windy and overcast with rain to begin later this afternoon- mid 50's. Tomorrow the highs will only be in the low 20's!

Watched 'GENERATION UM' (Amazon Prime).  A strange tale of a young man and two young women on a normal day in contemporary Alphabet City. He steals a video camera and spends the day video taping their interactions, but you don't learn until the last few minutes of the film that they are prostitutes and he is their pimp. Definitely filed under 'Art House'; with Keanu Reeves, Bojana Novakovic, and Adelaide Clemens. Because of the film I learned of 'The Tompkins Square Cannibal- Daniel Rakowitz' (1989). He murdered his roommate, made soup out of her body and served it to the homeless in Tompkins Park; Not Guilty by reason of insanity. Filmed near Tompkins Park adjacent to Alphabet City- to The FDR and The East River.

I was going to walk outside, but far too windy: 25mph-35mph! Will watch something else and hit the treadmill. TECH2DOOR is due at 3pm.

I watched the first episode of 'RAKE' (Amazon Prime). Sleazy LA lawyer defends lowlives for all he can get; with Greg Kinnear. This series will be dropped at the end of the month and the reason that I picked it is that Bojana Novakovic (GENERATION UM) is in the series. She also plays a prostitute.

130pm: ON THE TREADMILL~ FOUR MILES and watched the first episode of 'THE WILDS' (Amazon Prime). 

TECH2DOOR~330-615pm...new solid state hard drive. He forgot to remove the USB plug from the old computer, so he gave me a wired mouse from his truck. It's what I wanted anyway. Talked about streaming services and auxiliary speaker systems; $376.OO. And I learned where the 'on/off' button is located on the television monitor. 

In the tub with MCDERMOTT and listening to LITTLE FEAT, SON VOLT.

Watched 'THE BATTERY' (Amazon Prime). Jeremy Gardner is a lead actor and the director and I first saw him in 'AFTER MIDNIGHT'. Two minor league baseball players travel through a threadbare, rainy, yet picturesque Connecticut during a zombie apocalypse. Low Budget/ No Star/Shoe String, and well worth a look and winner of numerous film festival awards... zombie female pressing against a car window while a guy in the car masturbates...in the apple orchard hitting tossed apples with baseball bats......the two guys barricaded for days in a station wagon with the zombies banging on the windows..."Like rain on a tin roof"...Filmed near Kent and Sharon Connecticut.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
