Up 730am: Intermittent rain, snow, sleet to continue for today and tomorrow with temps to the mid 30's. Under an inch of accumulation is expected.

Watched 'CALM WITH HORSES' AKA 'THE SHADOW OF VIOLENCE' (Netflix). Set near Galloway in far western Ireland the film is a bleak story of a mob enforcer with limited intelligence who questions his gang affiliation. "Blood is only who you're related to, in our family, loyalty is what's most important'. Subplot: The man has a toddler with autism and he struggles to accept this fact. This is a more authentic examination of what autism is like to a low-income, undereducated family; with Cosmo Jarvis and Barry Keoghan ('THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER'). A classy drama and taken from a short story called 'CALM WITH HORSES'.

Then the next episode of 'THE MISSING' (Amazon Prime). 

***I called The Illinois Department of Employment Security about the 'request for benefits' that was sent in error. They will call back when they call back. I didn't talk to anyone but set up a call back. 

130pm: ON THE TREADMILL...The final episode of 'THE MISSING' {not nearly as good as season 1} and more of TULSI/JOE. 

***I lost the screen that allows the PC to turn off. It came back, but I'm not sure what I did (in case it occurs again). Speed and access to websites was not affected. 

Wrote 'The Wrap' and sent it off and then watched 'I'LL BE AROUND' (Amazon Prime). A group of music insiders and alt-rockers wax philosophical during a Los Angeles music festival. About the level of a student film and although I watched an hour and twenty minutes,  it's anyone's guess whether I'll ever finish this one. 

545pm: ON THE TREADMILL and watched CHRIS ROCK on 'HOW NEAL FEEL'.

In the tub with TUROW and listening to HOWARD WALES/JERRY GARCIA LIVE, LUCINDA WILLIAMS LIVE. 

Began 'RONIN' (Pluto). To 1 hr. 23 mins.

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
