930am.420pm.955pm.
Up 820am: Partly cloudy and breezy with temps to low 30's.
Watched 'SHERLOCK HOLMES' (Netflix). Directed by Guy Richie. Beautiful sets and costumes and Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law are perfectly cast as Holmes and Watson; also with Noomi Rapace, Rachel McAdams, Jared Harris, Stephen Fry, Kelly Reilly, and Eddie Marsan.
1pm: ON THE TREADMILL...4 Miles and finished ROGAN/ GLASSER-' ACLU', A Sarah Silverman and 'How Neal Feel'.
Read for an hour and then wrote the 'Wrap'.
Watched 'HOMEFRONT' (Netflix). An ex-special forces guy and his ten year old daughter are in a witness protection program in rural Louisiana and lovin' it when they fall afoul of some locals. Their enemies include an evil and psychopathic meth lab operator and a crazed motorcycle gang. The theme seems to be that 'We don't apologize because that's just for pussies and we will feud, hate, and retaliate forever'. Do real people act like this? Some excellent hand to hand, if you're into that kind of thing; with Jason Statham, James Franco, Kate Bosworth, Omar Benson Miller, and Winona Ryder. The screenplay was written by Sylvester Stallone.
645pm: ON THE TREADMILL...a little NEAL and a little JOE.
In the tub with TUROW and listening to JIMMY SMITH and some '7 Steps To Heaven'- MILES DAVIS.
Watched the next episode of 'ZERO ZERO ZERO' (Amazon Prime). This segment was about the Special Ops crew from the Mexican army at their school for special forces training. Now this cartel is protected by an elite fighting group albeit with a psychopath at the helm and a lieutenant deviates from the plan, and one of the original members is killed.
The next 'THE HILLS' (Amazon Prime). Young and super-rich with nothing to do by feud and consume. The question is always what is the source of their wealth? None of their salaries could possibly pay for their lavish lifestyles...an this is why I love it so.
