Up 745am: Cloudy, breezy with temps to almost60.

I borrowed three films from Hoopla: 'BITCOIN'(60"), 'BLAZING SADDLES', 'TULSA'.

Watched 'BLAZING SADDLES' (Hoopla). Richard Pryor gets a writing credit. Questionable at first, but after watching the film it makes brilliant sense. A timeless classic that's shocking, provocative, racist, and side-splitting; with Cleavon Little, Gene Wilder, Slim Pickens, Harvey Korman, and Mel Brooks. Released in 1974 and it isn't one second less funny almost a half century later. 

***Bathroom faucets are steadily leaking. Handyman or Plumber is needed.

Watched 'BITCOIN- The End of Money As We Know It' (Hoopla- 60"). Bitcoin is money designed for the Internet. It eliminates the middleman in that it keeps a record of your credits and debits but you don't pay a bank for this service. It's free and the software is completely transparent and cannot be hacked or tampered with.

145pm: ON THE Treadmill... 4 Miles at 3.5 pace and finished ARI SHAFFIR on WTF, more HOW NEAL FEEL, and some of another ARI SHAFFIR. 

***Did the Weekly Cleaning and then to Lowe's for fixtures.  430~515pm Lowe's got a Moen bathroom faucet for $99. I tried to get a kitchen replacement faucet, but I think I will wait and ask the guy who installs the bathroom faucet. Also looked at garden lights for the Brandenburgs, but was not impressed with the selection. 

Home to read 'WINTER' on the couch and listen to the Altec.

615pm...ON THE TREADMILL...2 Miles at 3.5 pace; FREDDIE GIBBS and BRIAN MOSES on The Joe Rogan Experience. 

In the tub with 'WINTER' and listening to MARK KAVUMA~ 'The Banger Factory', DESTROY ALL MONSTERS (Super Group-MC5/STOOGES).

Watched 'KING5 OF GL4M' (YouTube). Slade/ Bowie/Brian Ferry/ Suzy Quatro/ Elton John/ Marc Bolan. Great music and some of the best of any era, but looking back, the flamboyant costumes didn't stand the test of time. I loved the music both at the time and now, but the 'marketing of outrageousness' seems just hype. 

Watched episode 1 of 'WEB THERAPY' (IMDB-TV). Lisa Kudrow being delightfully snarky and very funny.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
