Up 8am: Another cloudy and frigid day with highs in the teens and snow flurries possible. Temps to drop even lower this weekend.

Watched two episodes of 'THE SINNER' (Netflix) and saved the final episode for the treadmill. This is the oddest series I've watched in ages and the tone is similar to 'TWIN PEAKS'. This season is called 'JAMIE' and there are two other seasons and I'll be rewatching them soon.

1210 pm: ON THE TREADMILL...4 Miles at 3.3 pace. Watched the final episode of 'THE SINNER' and then more of Ali Siddiq on ROGAN. 

3 pm: Watched the first two episodes of 'FLACK' (Amazon Prime). This is from Showtime and some of their programming will be available on Prime through the end of the month. 'FLACK' is hot and deals with a prestigious female-run public relations firm as they twist and reinvent reality for their clients' benefit; with Anna Paquin, Lydia Wilson, Rebeccca Benson, Sphie Okonedo, Genevieve Angelson, and Rufus Jones.

Then I watched the first episode of 'WORK IN PROGRESS' and this also is a show from Showtime, but only the first episode is free. Most of the TV shows that Prime is providing for free are only 'episode #1'. This is a series about a very masculine gay woman and her love life- Like nothing else; with Abby McEnany. I would have liked to have seen the entire season, but not enough to pay for it. 

540 pm: ON THE TREADMILL...2 Miles and watched part of two YouTube videos with ABBY MCENANY and more of TIM DILLON on Whiskey Ginger.

In the tub with JONG and listening to ROOT BOY SLIM MARC BENNO, TORD GUSTAVSEN TRIO.

Watched 'INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS' (Amazon Prime).  The plight of a young folk singer (and a cat)  in Manhattan, 1961; with Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, Adam Driver, and John Goodman.  Nominated for 2 Oscars and another 46 wins and 172 nominations.

I tried to find something interesting on Xfinity Live TV, but a complete waste. Why do they have password and ID security that's as strict as Ameriprise. They've got some 'Free' movies this week that I'll check out tomorrow. 

Pluto is some much easier to use and the selections are better than what I'm paying for at Xfinity.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
