Watching 'ARI SHAFFIR- This Is Not Happening' on YouTube. "We went camping to take mushrooms in Malibu Creek State Park and our tent was two stories, it had a chimney and came with a receptionist." 

Watched 'THE RHYTHM SECTION' (Amazon Prime). Surviving as a junkie prostitute Stephanie learns that her parents didn't die in an accidental plane crash. Terrorists placed a bomb on their plane and eager for revenge, she teams up with an ex-MI6 operative who teaches her the game of spycraft. Much better than I thought it would be- ; "...a tense and engaging thriller...". Shot in Dublin and Wicklow, Ireland; Cadiz, Madrid, Almeria, San Martin De Valdeiglesias, Spain and NYC; with Blake Lively (her character goes from 'Pathetic' to 'Lethal') and Jude Law (a small role, but sharply defined). Where did the title come from?

Wrote Janny and said that I would be in their 'old neighborhood' tomorrow and I'd meet them after the appointment on 19th or Red Oak.

Read in the living room and at 5pm watched 'THE OTHER GUYS' (Crackle). Hilarious Police/Buddy film- another 'side-splitter'; with Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, and Samuel L. Jackson. Stopped the film at 1'03" to HIT THE TREADMILL... ONE MILE and more DILLON/ROGAN. 

Janny replied that their closing is at 3pm. I completely overlooked that fact. I'll text when I'm done with the appointment and I think I will meet them at Red Oak and then offer to make a trip back to 19th and take an Elantra load to the new place and then split. Maybe even visit the new pot shop on Dirksen.

Watched 'LADY YOU SHOT ME- The Life And Death Of Sam Cooke' (Amazon Prime). Allen Klein is the villain in this piece. He duped The Beatles, The Stones, and Sam Cooke. All of the old Stones catalog still belongs to Klein's company and he is clearly one of the reasons that the Beatles broke up. But, it's still hard to believe that he would scheme to have Cooke murdered. Klein would have swindled him out of it rather than kill him.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
