915am. 145pm. 1020pm.
Up 730am: Sunny, breezy with temps to the low 50's. Spring Sprang?
Put 'CONFERENCE OF THE BIRDS'- Dave Holland on the mp3 player.
Called Brewer to pick up another gel-pen later today.
Watched 'OPERATION FINALE' (Netflix). A rather bland exploration of the capture of Adolf Eichmann in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1960. Eichmann's son was dating a girl who figured out who his father was and notified the Mossad. The film seems to be an accurate portrayal of the real events. He really was smuggled out disguised as a very drunk commercial airline pilot; with Oscar Isaac, Ben Kingsley, and Melanie Laurent.
Watched the last episode of 'AMEND- The Fight For America' (Netflix). The 13th Amendment states that all Americans are Free, and the 14th Amendment ensures the rights of citizens under 'the equal protection of the law'. Both statues were intended to deal primarily with slavery, but these two amendments ( especially the 14th) have affected everything from the end of Jim Crow to the establishment of women suffrage, gay marriage, and reproductive rights.
150pm: A walk through Washington Park, over to Washington, behind Walgreens, to Brewer to pick up the gel-pen, and then home. 2 HOURS; Mp3-NPR.
Read 'THE TURNER DIARIES' on the couch.
640pm: ON THE TREADMILL... 2 Miles and watched Live BLACK CROWES ~YouTube.
In the tub with TURNER DIARIES and listening to MOTHER HIPS, an ELECTRONIC TRIBUTE TO THE GRATEFUL DEAD.
Watched 'GUNS N' ROSES: Rock Case Studies' (Amazon Prime); 51". All of the 'reviewers' went on and on about the group's 'bad reputation', but nothing more specific than the band liked to drink and drug. Essentially they were the best 80's Hair/Metal Band (a dubious honor), but I do like 'THE SPAGHETTI INCIDENT' though.
