***Dax's office called and I made an appointment for 1pm Tues. 4/6
Began a Netflix series 'BEHIND HER EYES', but couldn't get into it, so began 'THE LOST PIRATE KINGDOM' (Netflix). This one wasn't completely bad, but not worth pursuing. And next, I watched the last hour of 'SMALL AXE: MANGROVE' (Amazon Prime). The Mangrove restaurant continued to be harassed for another two decades and the trials continued until a financial settlement was granted, but the police never issued a formal apology.
Watched a German video about QAnon.
1230 pm: PC is 'Off' and left for the tax office at 1250pm.
No federal tax and $139 to the state and $205 for the return. Next year I will owe $13,000 to the feds. Tax law said I didn't have to withdraw from my Ameriprise account and pay taxes in 2020.
To County Market/Fairhills: $96.
On the treadmill... 4 1/2 Miles~ HENRY ROLLINS on ARI SHAFFIR. Read 'THE WATERWORKS'/napped in the living room.
625pm...ON THE TREADMILL... 2 Miles and watched more of SARAH SILVERMAN interview at the 92nd street YMCA.
In the tub with DOCTOROW and listening to THE WALKMEN, SMOG, TOKYO POLICE CLUB.
Watched 'MADE YOU LOOK- A True Story About Fake Art' (Netflix). "A con artist is not a good speaker, a con artist is a good listener". In Chinese Art it is OK to copy the paintings of famous artists. To painstakingly duplicate a painting is the highest form of flattery both to the artist and the beauty of the painting. This tradition goes back centuries and the Chinese don't seem to have the same concept of 'forgery' as we do. COGNITIVE DISSONANCE- When the facts are wildly out of kilter with reality the majority of people will double-down on what they feel and believe yet refuse to accept what is real.
