 We 4/21/21-Ryan from CREASEY: 2pm.

915am. 355pm. 950pm. 1030pm.

Up 730am: Partly cloudy, but chilly with temps barely to 50.

***Dr. Kirk left word that Buddy's thyroid is now normal! And I leave the dose where it is, twice a day.

Watched 'CONCRETE COWBOY' (Netflix).  A reasonable 'Coming of Age Tale', but a little heavy on the Protestant Ethic: "Work will set you free", but little is made of how the community can overcome a system that is designed to work against them and hold them back. Set in North Philadelphia and loosely based on 'Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club'.  20% or more of American cowboys were Hispanic or Afro-American. 'Cowboy' comes from the term for black cowboys. They were called 'cattle boys'..."Hey, boy!...Hey, boy!... get over here and get that cow".

1150am: finished the film on the treadmill...ON THE TREADMILL...5 Miles and after the film I watched BERT KREISCHER and TOM SEGURO~ 'Bad Friends' podcast.

Read in the living room till Ryan called and arrived at 210pm-240pm. The entire drywall must be replaced. I had him make the estimate with /without painting and a new door. $2,000 at least. He will email the estimate by Friday.

4pm: Watched 'JACK GOES BOATING' (Amazon Prime). The film powerfully delves into the emotional and romantic lives of four friends in the working class in the boroughs of New York City; with Philip Seymour Hoffman, John Ortiz, Amy Ryan, and Daphne Rubin-Vega. "An affectionate homage to working-class underdogs trying to carve out their own little corners of happiness". "Hoffman's directorial debut transfers to film the company's ethos of an ensemble performing with ruthless honesty encouragingly well." The script was written by Robert Glaudini and based on his play, 'JACK GOES BOATING'. Filmed in Harlem, Brooklyn, and Queens, New York.

630pm: ON THE TREADMILL...  2 Miles and watched an episode of 'LOUDERMILK' (Amazon Prime) and then more KREISCHER/SEGURO.

In the tub with 'CITIZEN COHEN' (Began this afternoon) and listening to GRATEFUL DEAD~ Rarities, CLAPTON ~ 'Layla'. THE WHO~ 'Who' s Next'.

Watched a bit of "THE GRASS IS GREENER" a documentary about cannabis on Netflix, then the first episode of 'UTOPIA' (Amazon Prime). This is just as confusing as the recent remake, but I like it a little better because it is set in England.

And, 'GETTING DOUG WITH HIGH' with David Cross.
