We 4/7/21- Helitech: 3-5 pm. DONE DEAL
920 am. 930 pm.
Up 745 am: Partly cloudy with rain beginning later this afternoon- temps to upper 70's.
Watched 'DEADLY ILLUSIONS' (Netflix). "B-Movie' with a Grindhouse premise: The seductive and immoral nanny with a dissociative identity disorder . A silly ending and nearly the whole film was wildly implausible. Shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico; with Greer Grammer (Kelsey Grammer's daughter), Kristin Davis (SEX AND THE CITY), and Dermot Mulroney.
1215 pm: ON THE TREADMILL...5 Miles at 3.4 pace and watched a 'COLD CASE FILES' ~ Window peeper becomes a rapist and stabs a woman over a hundred times. And then I watched more of SKEPTIC TANK.
2 pm: Reading 'AMNESIA MOON' and it would be nice if HELITECH showed up early.
245 pm: I got a call from Chris of Capital City Home Improvement and he said that he could come over and check out the room in a half hour. He did measurements and gave me a bid of just over a thousand. He was leaving as Helitech arrived.
Adam from Helitech lives on Oakmont! He convinced me that he has the best system and it was much cheaper than Foundation Solutions, so I accepted his offer and put $1,600 down for the job. Adam from Helitech said they he recommends Creasey Builders (general contracting) and he, Adam, would be the general contractor for the job. Helitech can probably begin work in four to six weeks, mid May. And, the drywall work would have to be done before. Not sure if I want to re-tile or re-carpet, but I will have the mud and paint work done. And not sure if I will go with Chris of Capital City Home Improvement or Creasey, and I might even have the whole room done- even get rid of the cassettes! Thinking long and hard...
530 pm: On The Treadmill: 2 Miles and watched more of The Skeptic Tank.
650 pm: In the tub with 'Amnesia Moon' and listening to 'DAY OF THE DEAD' ~various artists cover The Dead, JACKO PASTORIOUS on My YouTube Music.
Watched 'TIM & ERIC'S BILLION DOLLAR MOVIE (Amazon Prime). Crazy, off-the-wall comedic sketches most people would either loath or love, but a star-studded cast. A couple of earnest clowns are offered a billion dollars to run a failing suburban mall. Goofy, but I liked it; with Jeff Goldblum, Bob Odenkirk, Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim, Robert Loggia, Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, and John C. Reilly. "Doing Business" (Dobis, Inc.). The Brown Bath.
