We 7/7/21

 We 7/7/21

950 am. 210 pm. 750 pm.

Up 755am:  Hot and hazy with temps to 90.

I watched the last 30" of 'SWORD OF TRUST' (Netflix). Very funny tale about "...an entire wacko fringe that fervently believes the Confederacy was victorious, and are willing to pay top dollar for supporting evidence."  It's really a demonstration of how wacky our present situation is considering 'Trump's Big Lie'. I noticed that Marc Maron did most of the music for the film. Shot in Alabama.

Then I watched 'PAYBACK' (Amazon Prime). A 'boiler room' New York stock broker with ties to the Brighton Beach Russian mafia does six years for murders he didn't commit, but when he gets out, revenge on the entire organization is on his mind.  Almost like an acting exercise and the opposite of a Hollywood film. No name stars.

I thought I might check out Lowe's and see about their interior doors. But after looking at the website, I don't have enough info about the door to order. Maybe the guys from Helitech will have an idea. At least how to measure a door and I'll call Zane if I'm still in the dark. I did get some info from a couple of YouTube videos, but I don't want to place an order unless I know that it'll work

Look at the side of the door with the hinges.

1230 pm: PC is 'Off' reading and preparing for a walk.

220 pm: Parkview, Country Club, Laurel, Outer Park, Park, Walnut, Wash. Pk., northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...2 HOURS AND 10 MINS... Mp3... 'A TRIBUTE TO JACK JOHNSON ~ Miles Davis, 91.9FM.

Home to read more of ' A MAN IN FULL'.

530 pm: In the tub with more TOM WOLFE and listening to BLUR, 'MASTER OF REALITY' ~ Black SABBATH.

8 pm: The movie is extremely early tonight because I want to hit the hay early so I can be up and ready for the 'sound of jackhammers' all day tomorrow. I really hope 'the loud part' can be finished by tomorrow evening both for me and for Buddy. I am dreading the entire ordeal.

Watching 'RECOVERY BOYS' (Netflix). A profile of a handful of guys who try to work through their addictions at a sober living house in West Virginia called 'Jacob's Ladder'. A FUN FACT: "90% of Americans who need treatment do not receive it".
