Up 7am:Partly cloudy with temps to lower 80's.

I watched 'VAL' (Amazon Prime). Val Kilmer has been shooting movies that date back to when he was a young boy making films with his brothers. This film is a 'documentary collage' or bits and pieces of film that he has cleverly spliced together to create an 'enchanting/bizarre' overview of his life. Kilmer proudly welcomes the audience into a warehouse full of this cinematic memorabilia and although he knows that he's got a terrific amount of material, he still worries that it might not be complete enough to tell the 'real' story.  I definitely understand that dilemma.  

Then I finished, 'CROCK OF GOLD: A FEW ROUNDS WITH SHANE MACGOWAN the Shane MacGowan film. He's still drinking although it's obviously killing him, however there is no danger that even young children would consider heavy drinking after seeing this doc.  

120pm: PC is 'Off' 
2pm: To Dollar General and County Market/ Fairhills, $63.00 then home to put the food away. 

3pm: To Planet Fitness. 45" Cross.  45" Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30" Treadmill.  30" Cross. I watched 2 episodes of 'COCAINE COWBOYS  (Netflix), and a JOEY DIAZ podcast about his dependence on drugs during the pandemic. This is the first time I've heard him talk about his heavy use of Xanax and I've heard so much bad stuff about this anti-anxiety drug. Then the first episode of  'THE KILLER SPEAKS'  (Amazon Prime). For no reason, a guy in Missouri goes on a rampage and kills five people and then gets caught at the US/Mexico border because he 'took a wrong turn'?  This was so whacky that it must be true...or true enough.   

650pm: In the tub with DIEHL and listening to DION, THE DIPLOMATS OF SOLID SOUND,  SHOSTAKOVITCH.

Watched 'WHAT IF' (Amazon Prime). A reasonably entertaining, off-beat, rom-com with a quirky cast; with Daniel Radcliffe, Zoe Kazan, Megan Park, Mackenzie Davis, and Adam Driver.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}. Pk northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 35 MINUTES; ORNETTE COLEMAN Playlist; began a J.R.E. with an English podcaster. 9am: Janny called and they will be here after their appointment with Dax at 10am.   Watched more of 'HIGH TIDES' (Netflix)- The Belgian soap opera of 'all the beautiful people'. 1045am- 1235pm: She met one of her students who was a girl who is now a man. We exchanged books & Joe recommended an 'oiler' that fits under the belt of a treadmill. Melissa is now '2nd in command' at the Illinois Parole Board...
