Up 730am: Temps to low 90's through Thursday with dangerous heat indexes. AC 'On' all day.

After too many Reddit videos I watched 'AFTERMATH' (Netflix). A somewhat reasonable film of the  'haunted house' genre.  A couple moves into a house where a murder/suicide occurred. It's pretty convoluted and there are plenty of red herrings about supernatural beings, but the wife that previously owned the home was having an affair with a man that she was secretly hiding in the house. When her lover learned that she wanted her husband back, he murdered them both and staged the murder/suicide. The film didn't take itself too seriously and that was it's most saving grace. The lead in the film looked more than a lot like Andrew Santino- "In Here We Pour Whiskey". 

I watched a review of last night's 'THE FATHER' and I really liked the explanation of the film and I will definitely see this film again. The film boasts a fantastic cast with Anthony Hopkins, Olivia Colman, and Imogen Poots.

2pm: On the treadmill...5 MILES AT 3.5 PACE...Watched a 'COLD CASE FILES' (AMAZON PRIME) - Grandpa & grandma shotgunned to death; 1985, Washington state, and then most of a BILL BURR podcast. 

Read/napped on the couch.

705pm: In the tub with HEADCRASH and listening to DURAN DURAN, PANTERA, and a Marc Maron YouTube video.

Watched 'AMERICAN MASTERS: INVENTING DAVID GEFFEN' (Netflix). A detailed portrait of the most important talent agent that Hollywood has ever seen. It's a real shame that one man had so much influence on the world's taste in music. Geffen had good taste, but diversity of taste and opinion is better for everyone. More artists get their chance to share the pie and the fans get to hear a wider variety of music. We need dozens of 'Geffens' in all of the arts.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
