Watched the Netflix disc, 'NOMADLAND'. A grim portrait of a woman who has been forced to 'hit the road'. I can see why conservatives might call this 'poverty porn'. Why do we have to highlight the negativity? Why can't we celebrate the wonderful things that this country has done for us?..."I Love Jesus,  Jesus Loves Me,  And Fuck You"!!! with Frances McDormand and David Strathairn.

1145am: On the treadmill....5 MILES AT 3.5 PACE...Watched 'UNTOLD- DEAL WITH THE DEVIL' (Netflix). First 'big time female professional boxer is beaten, stabbed,  and shot by her trainer/husband. He knew she was gay, but he wouldn't let her go. Then JB SMOOVE on ANDREW SANTINO's podcast.

Read 'ALL OF US' on the couch.

Arrived  800 N. 1st at 245pm after dropping off the disc at the Monroe PO. The lot where the old YMCA is covered with trimmed grass and it's hard to believe anything was even there. When I got to the Memorial Medical Center parking lot I walked down the street to find the new 'Y'. It's at the northside of 4th and Carpenter.

Enrolled at new 'Y' and I got the app loaded on the phone. There is some confusion if this app will work at the west branch of the 'Y'.  30"Cross. 30" Treadmill.  30" Cross:  ONE HOUR AND 30 MINS.  

In the tub with MCGHEE and 'TWEAK' and listening to MAKAYA MCCRAVAN, 'THE DEMOCRACY! SUITE- Jazz at Lincoln Center.  I finished 'THE SUM OF US ' which was a terrific, thought provoking read.

And watched a seven minute YouTube video 'THE 7 STRONGEST WEED STRAINS IN THE WORLD'...A waste of 7"... 

I watched 'LADY BOSS: THE JACKIE COLLINS STORY' (Netflix). I didn't realize how many books she actually sold. It's almost enough to make me want to read one of them....maybe.  'Sexual female entitlement' with a corny storyline and cardboard characters? ...maybe not.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
