***Just before 1030am I noticed problems with Amazon Music on the PC. I finally got it to load, playing Sonny Stitt, then getting a 'service error'. 

Watched 'COLORS' (Kanopy). A star-studded, late 80's lurid, and a bit ham-fisted, depiction of gang violence in the barios of Los Angeles...Two bulls standing on a hill: The younger one says, "Hey, let's run down and fuck a cow". The older one says, "No, let's walk down and fuck'em all"; with Sean Penn, Robert Duvall, Don Cheadle, Damon Wayans, and Seymour Cassel. Directed by Dennis Hopper, cinematography by Haskell Wexler, and music by Herbie Hancock.  

Watched episodes 3 and 4 of 'THE FROZEN DEAD' (Netflix). A lot of moving parts, but well worth a look. Two left and the plan is to watch one more at Planet Fitness later this afternoon.

135pm: PC is 'Off' and will read for a while and then head to Planet Fitness.

3pm: Planet Fitness...45" Cross.  45" Treadmill.  30" Bike.  30" Treadmill. 30" Cross. I watched the next episode of 'THE FROZEN DEAD ' (NETFLIX), an 'UNCLE JOEY'S JOINT',  an episode of 'ATYPICAL ', a SARAH SILVERMAN podcast. 

7pm: In the tub with KOONTZ and listening to YES, and various podcasts.

Watched 'GET HIM TO THE GREEK' (Peacock). A wry look at the professional relationship between a dissolute and out-of-control rock star and his American intern/agent. A great cast; with Johnah Hill, Russell Brand, Elisabeth Moss, and Rose Byrne. I cut it off at 1' 01" and will watch the rest tomorrow. Free Peacock still is not much of a deal, but it is something.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
