 Mo 10/18/21

955am. 1145am (2 hits mini). 930pm.

Up 815am: Bright and sunny with temps to mid 70's.

Watched 'THE FLOCK' (Amazon Prime). A format similar to 'The X-Files 'Mulder and Scully' team only this one concerns a male/female duo who keep tabs on violent sexual offenders around the city of  Albuquerque, NM.  And among their 'Flock' of deviates, a serial killer is on the loose and the film has lots of S&M/Bondage Scenes in the creepiest settings; with Richard Gere, Claire Danes, KaDee Strickland, Ray Wise, and Avril Lavigne.

***Maybe it was just how I felt at the time, but the two hits on the mini-pipe really packed a punch.  Although, I still think (insist!) that the design sucks. Unless you hold the tube upright, the weed will just fall out the end. And, this is especially true if you smoke shake.
***Auto-Correct tried to change 'smoke shake' to 'smoke and shake'.  My personal algorithm seems to be whacked.

Watched the last hour of 'WONDERLAND' (Peacock). This is not a great film, but I really liked it. I can't believe that John Holmes was aquitted. How that happened might make for an even better film- a legal thriller instead of a true crime.

I wrote up 'The Week' and talked about the Medicare fraud, but not about the coming medical test.

215pm: Preparing for a walk on the treadmill.
230pm: 5 MILES AT 3.6 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and watched SAM MORRIL on 'Whiskey Ginger'.

Reading 'OVER THE EDGE 'on the couch.

420pm: Got a call from Agnes Fenner's office to reschedule the CT IVP. It is on January 3rd at 2pm.

545pm: On the treadmill...2 MILES AT 3.6 PACE AND 0.50 SLANT and watched more of JOEY DIAZ on 'Skeptic Tank '.

645pm: In the tub with 'OVER THE EDGE ' and finished the book and began 'RABBIT REDUX' by John Updike and listening to ORNETTE COLEMAN,  'Wake OF The Flood'- DYLAN & THE BAND.

Began 'GLADIATOR' (Netflix).  "An exhilarating, sweeping epic"..."delivers the type of rousing, large-scale adventure that marked the best films of its kind"..."but it's neither profound enough nor pop enough to be great"; with Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix, Connie Nielsen, Oliver Reed, Richard Harris, Derek Jacobi, and Djimon Hounsou. Directed by Ridley Scott. Won 5 Oscars 59 wins & 106 nominations total.  In 180 AD. one quarter of the world was under Roman domination. ... "At my signal, unleash Hell!"
Stopped at 1'07".
