Up 640am: Bright, sunny, and breezy with temps to low 40's.

Watched 'THE LAST DAYS OF AMERICAN CRIME' (Netflix- it got a 'Metascore' of 15 at IMDB). In a dystopian American future, authorities develop a radio signal that suppresses the desire and ability to commit crime. It's known as 'API'- 'The American Peace Initiative' and the sociopathic son of a major crime figure plans the biggest heist of all time the night before all crime ends in the United States of America.  An interesting premise, but a failed execution. However, Michael Pitt's scene-chewing performance almost makes it almost worth it; with Edgar Ramirez, Anna Brewster, and Michael Pitt. Filmed in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa and Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, yet the film is set on the Canadian/American border. "A braindead slog that shambles forward like the zombified husk of the heist movie it wants to be, The Last Days of American Crime is a death march of clichés that offers nothing to look at and even less to consider." Not quite as bad as all that, but pretty close. 

1220pm: PC is 'Off' and will make an early visit to Planet Fitness and then hit County Market on the way home late this afternoon.  

1245pm: To Planet Fitness. 45" Cross.  45" Treadmill.  30" Bike.  30" Treadmill.  30" Cross. Watched 2 episodes of 'WHERE IS MARTA? (NETFLIX), then more of BRENDAN SAGALOW on SKEPTIC TANK. 

415pm: To County Market: $83.

540pm: In the tub with PUZO and listening to SONNY STITT,  JEFFERSON AIRPLANE.

Watched 'PASSING' (Netflix). Two estranged high school friends reunite and both can pass as white in 1920's NYC. One lives in Harlem and is married to a black doctor and the other lives with a rich white man and he believes she is '98 % White'; with Tessa Thompson, Ruth Negga, Andre Holland, and Alexander Skarsgard. Ponderously Deep and the film seems to strain for an Art House take on Race and Bias. Based on a novel by Nella Larsen.
