8am. 1pm. 540pm (3 hits/bong).
Up 630am: Mostly sunny with temps almost to 60.
Wrote up 'HOW TO DO NOTHING- Resisting the Attention Economy' by Jenny Odell.
Watched 'STAGECOACH' (Hoopla). Snappy, smart aleck dialog that's so over the top it's hysterical, but because the stars of the film were the royalty of 'Outlaw Country' music it almost makes it worthwhile- ex. "What's a uterus? It's part of her machinery"; with Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, John Schneider, Elizabeth Ashley, Anthony Newley, Anthony Franciosa, June Carter Cash, and Jessi Colter. Music by David Allan Coe and Willie Nelson. The San Carlos Apache Indians; B Troop, Fort Huachuca, Arizona; Filmed at Old Tucson, Arizona.
Watched the penultimate episode of 'INVENTING ANNA' (Netflix).
***Chat Wrap written & sent.

45pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.0 SLANT and more of JOEY DIAZ on J.R.E.
In the tub with GIDE and listening to STURGILL SIMPSON. His stuff with the Estonian lead guitarist was unbeatable. Simpson should have kept him at all costs and not gone back to straight bluegrass. He belongs solidly in the AltRock/Outlaw genre of music.
'ROCK'N'ROLL GUNS FOR HIRE- The Story Of The Sidemen' (BBC-Hoopla). Bernard Fowler- Stones; Earl Slick- Bowie. A quote from one of the two women sidemen for Prince: For a woman..."the music business is an oxymoron. You must be fuckable, first, straight up"! Steve Cropper seems to be the most successful among the sidemen. Billy Joel's side woman is a professor of music at Indiana University. Prince's side women were a lesbian couple and they now make their money making music for television. Bernard Fowler is an integral part of the band when the Stones are on stage, but he's not on the records? However, he did all of the backing vocals on 'She's The Boss'- Jagger's solo disc.
