Th 2/24/22- Snow!

 Amazon order arrived yesterday (We 2/23/22): 2 long underwear,  6 underwear briefs, gray fleece moccasins, Patchouli incense.

8am. 1115am (1 hit/ 2 hitter). 245pm  (1 hit/ 2 hitter).  550pm (3 hits/bong). 755pm. 

Up 620am: About a half inch of snow on the ground and it's to begin again around noon today. Temps to about 30 and still 1"-4" predicted before it ends very early Friday morning.

Watched Netflix disc 'ABOVE SUSPICION'.  I didn't read a thing about this film, so I'll just let it roll and see if I can determine why I picked it.  A slick 'B-Movie' about an ambitious FBI agent who seduces a young Kentucky woman into ratting out her bank robbing and drug dealing friends. The sultry confidential informant ends up murdered by her FBI lover and she becomes the first known murder victim by an agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation-(Wikipedia). 'Da Hood comes to rural Kentucky; with Emilia Clarke (GAME OF THRONES), Jack Huston, Sophie Lowe, Johnny Knoxville (JACKASS), Austin Hebert, and Thora Birch (GHOST WORLD). Filmed in Lexington, Paris, Cawood, Berry, and Harlan, KY. A great review: "A reality-based hillbilly thriller that can’t decide what flavour of noir to serve up, Above Suspicion is one of those curious failures that the current appetite for home streaming often rescues from theatrical limbo." I loved it anyway and the disc included a very good twenty minute 'Making Of'. 

***Snow begins at 1130am. and the stock market tumbles as a reaction to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. 

Then I watched 'DOWNFALL-The Case Against Boeing' (Netflix).  The Boeing 737 had a history of being very safe and dependable, but the Boeing 737 Max was different.  A 737 jet engine was developed that was more fuel efficient and McDonnell Douglas-Boeing  decided that they could just slap the new engines on the old frame of the 737. This required additional pilot training and Boeing refused to provide it.  McDonnell Douglas-Boeing paid out billions so that they would not be criminally at fault for billions more. 

1215am: Shut it down with 45" to go and will continue on the treadmill.

1230pm: 5 MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.0 SLANT, finished the Boeing doc and more of MAAJID NAWAS on J.R.E 

5pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.0 SLANT and began a new UNCLE JOEY'S JOINT with LEE SYAT. 

 550pm: In the tub with 'LONDON' and (too ripped) just listening to Best of ROBIN TROWER; GEORGE CLINTON- Live.

Watched more of 'HALSTON' (Netflix).

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
