Mo 4/25/22

825am (2). 1235pm (bong). 7pm (1). 840pm (1).

Up 7am: Partly sunny, breezy with temps to upper 50's.

Watched 'ZERO DARK THIRTY' (Peacock-TV). I'd seen it before, but this film is leaving at the end of the month and got a '93 Metascore' at IMDB. A well made film about America's quest to find, capture and kill Osama Bin Laden. It seems that the intelligence services provide more positive results than 'boots on the ground' in the War on Terror; with Jessica Chastain, Joel Edgerton, Mark Strong, Jason Clarke, and Kyle Chandler (BLOODLINE).

***935am: Dr. Ellison's office called and I can come by in the next couple of days for the blood test; open 8am-8pm.

1215pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a long walk outside.

1245pm: Parkview, Wash.Pk southside,  Wiggins,  Outer Park,  Lincoln,  Leland, Walnut, Wash.Pk northside, up the hill,  Parkview, Kenyon, and down to 940....ONE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES...Mp3...PJ HARVEY;  ROYAL TRUX; 91.9 FM.

Read 'THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY'.

4PM: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and more of TIM DILLON on J.R.E.

455pm:  In the tub with 'THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY' and listening to BREAKESTRA;  JOHNNY GUITAR WATSON; BETTY DAVIS.

Watched an hour-long documentary on Betty Davis called 'BETTY- They Say I'm Different' (Amazon Prime). They never really answered the question as to why Betty went into seclusion. Because I've only heard her music, I didn't expect her live shows and videos to be so sexually provocative. The biggest takeaway is that she was one of the greatest Funk artists of all time and easily as good as George Clinton or Rick James and just a notch below Prince.

Watched the last episode of 'HOLD TIGHT' (Netflix).  Maybe too complicated of a storyline because I have nearly no idea what happened or why.  I'd give the book a shot so I checked the library website and got it on Kindle. It took far too long to borrow the e-book but it finally took.
