Watched 'BEYOND THE NIGHT' (Peacock-TV). This is a very strange film- eccentric and original. A little boy with a large facial birthmark 'remembers' a girl from the community who disappeared from their rural New York town many years previously. The local pastor murdered the missing teenager and the little boy 'knew' it. Reincarnation? Sixth Sense? Lucky Guess? An intriguing premise and shot in the Fall in Liberty, NY in Sullivan County, New York; with Tammy Blanchard, Zane Holtz, and Azhy Robertson (MARRIAGE STORY).  

Then I watched the first episode of 'LIGHT THE NIGHT' (Netflix). An Asian soap opera film in Taipei, Taiwan. My first and only look.

1230pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and began DAKOTA MEYER on J.R.E.

I finished reading 'THE BURGLAR WHO LIKED TO QUOTE KIPLING' by Lawrence Block and began 'HALF ASLEEP IN FROG PAJAMAS' by Tom Robbins and listening to GENESIS. 

420pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and watched a JOEY'S JOINT. 

510pm: In the tub with 'HALF ASLEEP IN FROG PAJAMAS' and listening to GENE CLARK; GARY CLARK JR.

Watched 'KING OF THIEVES' (Netflix). A crew of six elderly yet experienced London thieves rob an underground safe deposit facility in Camden and abscond with the equivalent of $6,440,000. It's a low key comedy thriller but it hardly pushed the envelope; with Michael Caine, Jim Broadbent, Tom Courtenay, Ray Winstone, Charlie Cox, and Michael Gambon.  

The film is set at the 'Hatton Gardens' which is a commercial district in London and the center of the UK diamond trade and home to over 300 jewelry businesses.
