Tu 4/12/22- COVID BOOSTER at Schnucks

 Tu 4/12/22- COVID BOOSTER; SCHNUCKS

840am. 10am (1 hit/1 hitter). 1210pm. 710pm.

Up 630am: Partly sunny and breezy with temps to low 70's. I raked the gum balls...again; 7am-730am.

Around 6am I began trying to schedule a Covid booster shot, but it was too confusing/annoying. Walgreens gave me a phone number only to order a 'med alert' bracelet and I'm not even sure how to read the Covid Vaccination Card to schedule an appointment with Memorial Medical.

Watched 'YAKSHA: RUTHLESS OPERATIONS' (Netflix). The premise is that Northeastern Asia reigns supreme in international influence and power and an investigator from Seoul is sent to observe and appraise a South Korean spy group (their cover is a travel agency) in Shenyang, China. He becomes involved in a series of bloody shenanigans and it turns out that the Japanese intelligence agency was behind all of the bad stuff. Basically,  the Japanese were trying to end any chance of reconciliation between North and South Korea because a united Korea would be a threat to Japan's power in the area. The cartoonish level of violence and killings by all parties make the story hard to believe and a drama about Japan stopping rapprochement between North and South Korea would have made a better film.

The plan is to hit Esporta Fitness, then stop at the pharmacy at Schnucks about the Covid card. I tried to get an estimate for the prairie grass pruning, but it became confusing/annoying.

1145am: PC is 'Off' and preparing to leave.

1230pm: 45" Cross.  45" Treadmill.  30" Bike. 30" Treadmill.  30" Cross and watched the last two episodes of 'BETTER CALL SAUL' (NETFLIX) and finished '800 METERS' (NETFLIX).

***After Esporta I went to Schnucks and got the Moderna booster. In and out in 10 minutes.

450pm: In the tub with 'SNOW CRASH' and listening to EDGAR WINTER'S WHITE TRASH; CLIMAX BLUES BAND.

Watched 'MARGIN CALL' (Netflix). The day that an investment firm learns that the hazardous practice of blending solid mortgages with worthless ones and selling them as 'golden' has come to an abrupt end. A somewhat fictional account of the first firm to 'sell out' at the very beginning of  the financial crisis of 2008;  with Zachary Quinto, Stanley Tucci, Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Mary McDonnell, and Demi Moore.
