 Su 5/8/22- Buddy Sick

805am (1). 1035am (1). 1255pm  (2). 705pm (2). 815pm (1).

Up 630am: Partly sunny, breezy with temps to low 70's.

***I cut down most of the dandelions on the front lawn with the hedge clippers. This will save me from mowing for a couple more days.

Buddy threw up while I was slashing weeds but he seemed OK the rest of the day.

Watched 'THE GENTLEMEN' (Netflix). The premiere Cannabis Kingpin of  The UK wants to retire and starts negotiations with another pot entrepreneur to sell his business. Then he becomes involved in a complicated plot to devalue his business (his grow houses are located at the palatial estates of cash poor aristocrats) and sell at a loss but who knocked over the first domino? This gangster comedy film is told as a flashback by a reporter who is trying to run a blackmail scheme on the kingpin's crew; with Matthew McvConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Colin Farrell, Hugh Grant, and Eddie Marsan. Directed by Guy Richie.

***'ZULU' was delivered to the front porch by Amazon. I didn't see or hear a thing.

Watched the first episode of 'THE UNSOLVED MURDER OF BEVERLY LYNN SMITH' (Amazon Prime). Fun Fact: It is entirely legal for Canadian authorities to lie to suspects and coerce them into doing illegal deeds.  This is outrageous and is not allowed in the US, the UK, or Germany.

1135am: PC is 'Off' and will do the Weekly Cleaning and then an afternoon workout at Esporta.

105pm:  To Esporta...45" Cross.  45" Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross and finished 'THE UNSOLVED MURDER OF BEVERLY LYNN SMITH' (Amazon Prime) and began TRAILER TRASH TAMMY on WHISKEY GINGER.

5pm: In the tub to finish 'AMERICAN BOY' and began 'ZERO DAY' by DAVID BALDACCI and listening to THE BLACK CROWES.

Watched 'MOBY DOC' (Kanopy). An arty and personal biopic of Richard Melville Hall. Not at all what I remembered from his first autobiography. Dad died in a car wreck when Moby was two and his mother raised him in poverty. His grandparents were wealthy and lived in Connecticut... "Animals are nice and people are terrifying".
