740am (2). 10am (1). 650pm (1).
Up 6am: Cloudy with a chance of showers and storms all day with temps to low 70's.
***On Tuesday I started taking antihistamines because my head is blocked because of the pollen or it seems like my allergies are acting up. The pills were the ones that I bought the day before the lockdown began in February of 2020. I rushed to the pharmacy department at County Market/Fairhills to get all the cold pills that I could find and I noticed that most people were not concerned about medicine but whether or not they had enough toilet paper.
Watched 'THE KING OF NEW YORK' (Plex-TV). A mob boss is released from prison and he wants to use some of the gang's drug profits to save a Bronx hospital, but the cops just want to put him away; with Christopher Walken, David Caruso, Laurence Fishburne, Victor Argo, Wesley Snipes, Giancarlo Esposito, and Steve Buscemi- Directed by Abel Ferrara. A wild film and I loved it- A Christopher Walken Classic.
Began 'OUR FATHER' (Netflix). An Indianapolis fertility doctor used his own sperm to impregnate his patients. Decades later his many children sound the alarm. Is this just a case of fraud or is it something more? Another solid film from Blumhouse Productions (A HOUSE ON THE BAYOU).
11am: PC is 'Off' and will finish 'OUR FATHER' (Netflix) on the treadmill.
1110am: 5 MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.5 SLANT and finished 'OUR FATHER' (NETFLIX) and began CARMEN MORALES on JOEY'S JOINT.
Weight set
Reading 'WITHOUT RESERVATIONS'
110pm-125pm: Intense thunderstorms and then clearing. Mowing the lawn is off the table for now (measured 3/4" on the rain gauge).
355pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.50 and more of NEAL BRENNAN on J.R.E.
445pm: In the tub with ALICE STEINBACH and listening to MILES DAVIS.
Watched Netflix disc 'INHERITANCE'. A 'B-Movie' about wealth, power, and revenge. A rich guy kills a man in a drunken car accident and his friend tries blackmail. Rich guy turns the tables and locks him in an underground bunker for decades. Silly beyond belief but worth a look- just barely; Lily Collins, Simon Pegg.
