Last night I learned that I have lost about $700,000 since my highpoint last November. It's such a shocking number that I don't really know how I feel about it. 

Up 620am: Partly sunny, breezy with temps to just over 90.

I wrote up 'ZERO DAY' by David Baldacci for the blog.

Watched 'EDGE OF FEAR' (Netflix). It's a classic 'home invasion' genre film but this one is impossible to believe unless you are under seven years old. A man with a knife sticking out of his chest (the premise is that the knife blade 'seals?' the wound to his heart) outwits and out fights a gang of bad guys. The husband and wife protagonists are Chinese and this was a joint Chinese/American production and was filmed in Conyers, Georgia, an eastern suburb of Atlanta.

930am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for the treadmill before the dentist appointment at 1pm. 

945am:  FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and began THE BLACK KEYS on J.R.E. 

1240pm to the dentist. $102 and I will be reimbursed from Aetna and I plan to send it in tomorrow.

***I used the 'travel' 1-hitter and did one toke before I left their lot and very pleasantly high at County Market: $107.

350pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and watched more of THE BLACK KEYS on J.R.E. 

445pm: In the tub with 'ZULU ' and listening to new Live GRATEFUL DEAD; ANDREW HILL; ELVIN JONES. 

Watched 'THE WOLF HOUR' (Amazon Prime).  An agoraphobic female author is stuck in a bad part of the South Bronx during the broiling hot summer of 1977.  The Son of Sam is on the prowl and a citywide blackout triggers total anarchy. More like a play than a feature film and it wasn't an entire waste of an evening, but close; with Naomi Watts.

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
