We 5/25/22- Buddy Sick

We 5/25/22

735am (2). 1015am (1). 1250pm (2). 715pm (1). 815pm (1).

Up 545am: Overcast with rain beginning early this afternoon and continuing through Saturday morning. That was the forecast all day but no rain fell until nearly 8pm. Today was one of the worst weather forecasts I've ever seen. The storms completely missed us.

I wrote up 'DELIVER US FROM EVIL' by David Baldacci.

I borrowed 'BAD REPUTATION- Joan Jett' (Hoopla) to watch this evening.

***745am: Buddy threw up twice pretty violently. In ten minutes he seemed fine and I fed him again around 9am and he was ravenous. He seemed fine the rest of the day.

Watched 'OUT OF TIME' (Kanopy). A police chief in the Florida Keys uses drug money in the evidence room to pay for his lover's cancer treatments. It's all a scam and she's just out for the money; with Denzel Washington, Eva Mendes, Sanaa Lathan, and John Billingsley. There were some nice locations in southern Florida but I'd only give only about 'C'.

Watched '42 DAYS OF DARKNESS' (Netflix). I was too tired last night to make sense of it and I still don't know what really happened. YouTube thinks there might be a season 2 of the series but that might involve a different case entirely. The series is based on an actual case that happened in Chile in 2010 and the husband was convicted of contracting a hit on his wife but I don't think that the series offered a definitive answer.

Watched a YouTube video {The Religious Hippie} about a young girl talking about 'the 3 days of darkness'. The belief that no light except by 'blessed beeswax candles'.  These people are allowed to vote?

12pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for an afternoon at Planet Fitness.

1pm: To Planet Fitness. 45"Cross.  45"Treadmill. 30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross and watched 'GULLY' (Amazon Prime). An odd film about 'da ghetto'- three friends try to make their way in the world but societal forces destroy them. And more of Tony & Bert on J.R.E. and the first episode of 'THE G WORD' - Food; (NETFLIX).

455pm:  In the tub with 'WITHOUT RESERVATIONS' and listening to CHARLES MINGUS; HERBIE HANCOCK.

Watched 'BAD REPUTATION' (Hoopla).  An interesting bio of a very often forgotten or overlooked hero(ine) of rock'n'roll. The film makes you curious about her sexuality and she refuses to make any public statements about the issue. On The 70's- "The men were turning into fags and the women into John Wayne".
