Watched 'YOUR SON' (Netflix). A Spanish surgeon investigates the savage beating of his son. The story hinges on two phone videos; the first records the beating of his son and the second shows his son raping his girlfriend. The rape was the reason for the assault? The father deletes the video and the message is that he would do anything for his son?  An Art Film with a questionable moral point of view and that makes it a cut above the usual 'Revenge' genre film. I liked the darkness and ambiguity. 

1210pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for more miles on the treadmill. 

 1220pm:FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND 1.5 SLANT watched 'WEB OF MAKE BELIEVE' (NETFLIX). Phony Fox News story; Seth Rich, a Dem staffer was murdered after dishing to Wikileaks. Right Wing conspiracy theories say that he showed that Russia was helping the dems, but it was all a lie spread by Russian bots. 

Finished THE  NARROWS by Michael Connelly  and began TAMI HOAG- 'Still Waters'. 

355pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT  and began another 'WEB OF MAKE BELIEVE' (NETFLIX) -'Sextortion' on the internet where young girls are extorted on the internet. He gets them to give him a sexually explicit photo and then he says to give him money or he'll spread the picture all over the internet. 

445pm:  In the tub with 'STILL WATERS' by Tami Hoag and listening to THE JAMES GANG; FREE.

Passing time watching the latest JOEY'S JOINT.

Watched 'HALFTIME' (Netflix). A biopic of Jennifer Lopez-  She's rich, powerful and influential, but cannot get the critical acclaim that she deserves or this is what we are led to believe. 

And finished 'WEB OF MAKE BELIEVE- Death, Lies and The Internet' (Netflix). The authorities finally nail the 'sextortion' guy.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
