Up 610am: Thanks, Buddy. Partly cloudy with a chance of showers this afternoon with temps to mid 80's. (No rain at all)
***When I did a little weeding on Tuesday afternoon I must have come in contact with some poison oak. The inside of my right lower arm is covered in sores and Tuesday night I must have scratched it while I was asleep. It is a hassle.
Finished Netflix disc 'ALEXANDER: Director's Cut' ; with Colin Farrell, Anthony Hopkins, Rosario Dawson, Angelina Jolie, Val Kilmer, Christopher Plummer, Jared Leto, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers; directed by Oliver Stone; 6 wins & 19 nominations. '39 Metascore'...Village Voice: "...although Stone post-produces the dickens of his movie trying to generate the maximum spit-fog of sound and fury, Alexander manages to be as dull as the Victor Mature films of the 1950s, which barely moved at all". Although it was definitely a bit 'hammy' the battle sequences made it well worth a look; Elephants on the front lines facing twelve foot spears.
Oliver Stone did the commentary and I rewatched the best battle scene with the elephants and he discussed how they did it.
Timonium jokes on 'Tuesdays with Stories'. Magooby's Joke House..."Timonium sounds like a medicine. Take a couple shots of Timonium. Sounds like an element. We've discovered Timonium."
Then I watched the last hour and a half of 'YOU DON'T KNOW ME' (Netflix). The hero's sister is the one who shot and killed Jamil but the story is that his girlfriend did it and she's in the wind. However, the last scene shows how the story plays out if he is convicted or freed, but you never hear what the jury says so it's up to the viewer to decide. I'd rate the series about a 'B- Minus'.
Not sure if I want to hit Planet Fitness or walk downtown to mail back the disc.
11550am: PC is 'Off' and the walk won.
1240pm: Out Edwards, a little downtown, and back Governor....TWO HOURS...Mp3...JOHN MAYALL; LOVE SCULPTURE; J.R.E with MIKE JUDGE.
Reading 'A THIN DARK LINE'.
4pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and more of MIKE JUDGE on J.R.E.
450pm: In the tub with 'A THIN DARK LINE' and listening to HUMBLE PIE.
Watched 'PRAY AWAY' (Netflix). Conversion Therapy is soundly debunked yet wherever people feel that there is something inherently wrong or immoral with same sex attraction then there will always be some form of this ideology.
Back on the weights, but will end things a little early tonight.
