Sa 7/9/22- Shakedown Problems PC

 Sa 7/9/22

640am (1). 8am (1/2). 1155am (1). 650pm (2).

650am: Fairhills/ County Market

Home by 730am; $126. I'll save posting the journal because I'm having problems with the keyboard. It seems to work better if you are a very deliberate typist. And, I still haven't found out what the new edition of Windows 'Notes'.

I'll give the system a workout and try John Carpenter's 'VAMPIRES' (Netflix). A cheesy, grade 'B' vampire flick that did not take itself too seriously. The daddy of all vampires 'changed' in the 14th century and now is ready to perform a ritual so that he can walk in the daylight. The 'Vampire Busters' put the kibosh on his plan;  with James Woods, Daniel Baldwin, Sheryl Lee,  and Mark Bonne  Junior. Filmed near Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The keyboard is really acting up, but I've found that it works much better if I type on my lap.

***Change power settings at the screen saver "change when computer sleeps".

It's 11am and here's the plan:

Call BLH and ask about the Windows Updates

Call Republic about all the cardboard

Aetna for more pills

Buy a case of 9 Lives online

I called BLH and the tech had me Restart and it took, but when I got it back it needed more updating. I'll do this tonight. God, I wish they would find another way. It is always a fucking problem.

Republic is closed, so it's off to Planet Fitness and then I'll stop at Texas Steakhouse for the $50 gift card when I'm done with the workout.

The keyboard has worked flawlessly on my lap. I wonder what the problem was? Is the speaker bar covering the reception?

1130am: PC is 'Off' and preparing to hit Planet Fitness.

12pm: To Planet Fitness. 45"Cross.  45"Treadmill. 30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross and watched a full length documentary called 'THE GREAT HACK' (NETFLIX) - The story of Cambridge Analytical, then part of a JOEY'S JOINT, and more BRIAN REDBAN on J.R.E

To The Texas Steakhouse and got the $50 gift card.

450pm: In the tub with NELSON ALGREN bio and listening to JAMES BROWN; 'Cheap Thrills' - BIG BROTHER & THE HOLDING COMPANY.

Watched 'ALWAYS SHINE' (Peacock-TV).  Another strange Art Film that I'll have to watch some YouTube videos to understand what really happened when two actress friends spend a few days at Big Sur; with Mackenzie Davis, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Lawrence Michael Levine, and Jane Adams. It was good enough so this will be worth the extra effort.
