Watched 'CONTRABAND' (Netflix). A bad guy attempts the straight and narrow, but his brother in law forces him to do one more smuggling operation. He acquires 2 skids of counterfeit money in Panama City and gets it back to New Orleans on a cargo ship. Is Panama known for counterfeit currency?; with Mark Wahlberg, Giovanni Ribisi, Kate Beckinsale, Caleb Landry Jones, Ben Foster, Lucas Haas, J.K. Simmons, and Diego Luna. Filmed in New Orleans, Louisiana and Panama City, Panama. This was a remake of an Icelandic film that was set in Iceland, Germany, and the Netherlands. 

Then the first episode of 'MR. GOOD COP OR CROOK?' (Netflix). Will begin with this at Esporta later this afternoon.

1045am: PC is 'Off' and will do the Weekly Cleaning and then to Esporta. The plan is to hit the pill shop after the workout.  

Pneumonia call. A pharmacist from the CVS (Schnucks Montvale?) called to tell me that they have pneumonia shots and I can get one. Strange to get this call at noon on a Sunday during the July 4th weekend. Nice to be remembered...That's where I got one of the COVID boosters. 

1230pm: Biked to Esporta. 45"Cross (no arms). 45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross and more, 'MR. GOOD COP OR CROOK? ' (NETFLIX), NOEL LEON on SKEPTIC TANK, and FAHIM ANWAR on J.R.E.

455pm:  In the tub with 'A THIN DARK LINE' and listening to JOHN MAYALL & THE BLUES BREAKERS; 'Who Came First' - PETE TOWNSEND.

Upstairs with the AC 'On' and the overhead fan spreading coolness.  

I watched 'BILL W' (Amazon Prime). An engaging bio-pic of Bill Wilson, the founder of AA. Religion as a 'cure' for alcoholism (his connection to The Oxford Group) might be a bit off the mark, but the idea of anonymity within the group is on the money. In his final months he was dying of emphysema and so little oxygen was getting to his brain that he was clinically insane.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
