***I made an appointment with i3 Broadband to increase my internet speed and they are to arrive between 8am and 10am this morning. Yesterday I noticed that both PC's were only getting 40-50 Mbps.

Up 530am: Sunny and breezy with temps to upper 80's.

Began 'A MURDER IN THE PARK' (Kanopy). The case that ended Illinois death row was based on a case where the murderer was NOT falsely accused. Chicago allowed a legal zealot to end the death penalty even though he was well aware that he was not freeing an innocent man. This lawyer felt that the death penalty is morally wrong and anything that ends it is justified. 

***825am: i3 Broadband should be here in ten.  He was here from about 930am-1030am. I am getting 650-700 Mbps to the router and the modem, but I'm getting only about 40-50 Mbps on each of the PC's. In other words, i3 Broadband will deliver the speed to the house, but each device within the house won't even come close to that. He suggested that I get a new wifi adapter for the living room PC that will allow wifi 6. I'll probably do this since better wifi within the house is always good, but the router and modem need to be hardwired. The i3 Broadband tech said they couldn't do that because of the concrete breezeway. I think I'll give ATT and Xfinity another chance because their wiring is already in place.  

Then I watched more of  'YOU DON'T KNOW ME' (Netflix). I left with one and a half hours left in the series.

1130am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a long walk. It's a beautiful day. 

12pm:  Parkview, Wash. Pk. northside, Walnut, Leland, Lincoln, Outer Park, Wiggins, Wash. Pk. southside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...TWO HOURS...Mp3...'Live - HOT TUNA'; MICK TAYLOR; J.R.E with RYAN HOLIDAY (1st time I listened to a podcast on a walk).

Reading 'A THIN DARK LINE'

405pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND 1.50  and began a THEO VON podcast. 

450pm: In the tub with 'A THIN DARK LINE' and listening to 'Live MAGGIE BELL at The Rainbow- 1974'; 'Live BLODWYN PIG - Radio Sessions 69 to 71'.

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
