Up 545am: A rainy day with temps only to 80.

I decided to go ahead with the plan to buy a large screen monitor and wireless keyboard at Best Buy for the downstairs system. I hope to be able to coordinate with Joe and Janny to use their truck to pick up the TV.

I spent some time last night and this morning crafting an email that didn't sound too demanding or desperate. 

Watched 'OFFICIAL SECRETS' (Netflix). A superior film about American lies to invade Iraq. New Angle: An intelligence agent in Britain noticed that US agencies were asking the Brits to get negative information about various ambassadors at the UN to force them to back the invasion. The female agent was brought to trial in Britain, but it was dropped because the prosecution realized that were they to continue, 'dangerous' facts about the lies would be made public; with Keira Knightley, Matt Smith, Rhys Ifans, and Ralph Fiennes.  

Tech2door- 217 725 6510: At 920am I called them and told them of the additional work. It's $80 an hour. 

925am: PC is 'Off' and will be heading for Best Buy momentarily.

10am: To Best Buy...heavy rain... I had to wait in the car in the lot. It was raining that hard and called Janny from the Elantra. I bought a 65" Samsung TV and a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Joe decided that I should come back to the store at 2pm to meet them. 

FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and finished 'OFFICIAL SECRETS' (NETFLIX) and most of a short documentary about a female spy called 'TRACKING EDITH' (AMAZON PRIME).

130pm to Best Buy to meet The Brandenburgs. I was in the store to buy a soundbar that I forgot to get this morning. It has a woofer and the whole system is wifi. yeah!

When we got back to the house we realized that the old TV table was not long enough to support the new TV.  So Joe & I drove to their house because he thought they had a board that would do the trick, and unfortunately his board was also too short. Then over to Habitat For Humanity and we found a piece of a countertop that would work perfectly; $10 board.

405pm: TWO MILES AT 4.2 (increase) PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and watched a JOEY'S JOINT with BILL BURR.

450pm:  In the tub with HEINLEIN and listening to 'GUITAR GENIUS: The LA Sessions'; WILCO.

Watched Netflix disc 'MARRY ME'. A publicity stunt during a musical performance and the star of the show and a random man take marriage vows. Obviously, they must fall in love and of course they do. If you suspend a ton of belief it kinda works; with Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, and Sarah Silverman. A surprising '51 METASCORE'.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
